There's a difference between award show performances and tour performances. Katy has admitted to getting nervous in front of her peers at award shows but on tour She's pitch perfect because she's connecting with her fans. Some artists are the opposite, they sing well on award shows but their tour performances aren't good. It just happens but I can tell you for sure she can sing with the best of them, that's no lie. You should consider seeing her on tour for the full effect
