Rosemary - Deftones (Drum Cover)

Canción que viene en el Koi No Yokan, tocada por Abe Cunningham, una de mis mayores influencias en la batería, este es un rock que se siente mucho más pesado por ir mucho más lento de lo que uno esperaría.
Deftones siempre ha sido una de mis bandas favoritas y Abe Cunningham uno de los baterístas de los que más cosas he retomado; él hace mezclas de rock, hip hop y jazz y al mismo tiempo le da mucho punch a lo que compone.

Good cover but you see when Abe Cunningham plays those drum parts, he beats, he smashes the drums. You could do with a lot more energy because it's Deftones, it's not jazz, you have to give a little more.

I completely agree with you, and believe it or not, I'm hitting hard these drums, I know the perspective of the video has the visual effect of making it seem like I'm barely touching the drumheads, but actually I'm hitting hard, not the hardest I can, but hard. I'm usually a hard hitter, so when I'm in the studio they can't use just any mics since they get overloaded, only high pressure mics.
