Love your videos but there isn't enough of them unfortunately. I'm installing a greenstick on my boat currently so I can bluefin fish out of north carolina a couple weeks out of the year. Have you spoken with anyone running them in the gulf for yellowfin? I can't find out if it would be worth it to head down to Venice to try. Thanks for all your experience
The reason for the bouy is if you get three or four 200 lb bigeyes on at once it keeps the line stretched out so the fish cant dive and RIP each other off with the ball keeps apart and the they go into a death circle so you can bring in all the fish you hooked most guys dont know that so when they get a rat pac attack they only end up with maybe one fish but lost all the others. Why, you're most welcome sir. I had the privilege of learning the trade with a master ika shibi fisherman and as you know everything is done in total darkness on board, it gave me a very keen eye for tiny detail. I have to say that that "Battle Wagon" of yours is literal perfection. If you would have me I'd travel half way round the world to fish with you one day.
Thanks for your input I guess it would be very boring to people that dont know anything about what's going on. But for some guys trying to learn they can watch the hooks ups and techniques. Its help many greenstick improve there skills. But yes if it was boring can you amazine how boring I was doing it.
Sorry Tim this was a few years we just had the cam running and was not really trying to make a Movie we were going to take it down but a lot of guys out there enjoyed watching it to see how it all works.it also shows how boats can cut you off and lose gear. Sorry you feel it Sucks that was not my intention .
What fun.. haven't been out to tuna fishin' since that last of the 70's.. so much work and fun...
Greensticking is the most fun fishery there is... There's nothing like hearing that breakaway snap.
