    It would really help if you talked in your videos and said what tools you are using, with the labels shut off it is very hard to know what you are doing. Especially considering CATIA keeps updating and changing what their tool boxes and icons look like. It would make it so this video would help 3D experience users as well.

    Finally I know that the involute profile of a helical gear is a circle, oh wait it's not! So hard to find a proper video about this...

    how can i set helix angle specially? 15° , 20° ,25° ?

    • @bernadusarswendo1046
      @bernadusarswendo1046 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      coşkun fırat Dursun Hello, i think if you do with this method you can't determine the angle. if you need to create using angle you can sketch the line with certain angle then projection to the gear surface.

      calculate the relative pitch length

    • @abhilashnikam9092
      @abhilashnikam9092 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      1.calculate circumfarence= 3.14*D
      2.Sin(Helix angle) * Extrude thickness = will get some value (X value)
      3.Circumference - X value = Answer (its the required dimension to put as the pitch).

    • @akhilvijayan9439
      @akhilvijayan9439 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      pitch to be applied = (π*D)/tan(helix angle).
