If she is going to leave you on a corner, you will need a duffel coat with the label that says "free to any home, or scientific experimentation", a couple of marmalade sannys, and you will need to borrow a big hat from somewhere? :)

Just found your channel and love it! Beautiful yacht! Love the wrap. Have you had any issues with the wrap?

We love the wrap. Ours was the first boat the builder tried with the wrap and I think it was very successful. It's nice to know that it can easily be touched up if necessary or you can completely change you color at any time. Very low maintenance requirements.

Hi Dawn, Peter. Thanks for these videos. Us folk who are looking at similar yachts find them to be more helpful than you might realise. I saw the 9 knots boat speed, but couldn't hear the engine (screaming?!). What kind of revs were needed to do that? Is that a standard test the guys from the yard do, to prove the propellor is screwed on properly, etc? Any other testing of particular interest? Leaks, perhaps? I ask because another new yacht I've been following had three serious leaks and a few other problems, all needing urgent call outs. Hopefully Chloe was trouble-free, but do tell! :-) Regards, Rick.

Hi Valden, yes was a std test. The insulation on the floors means that the engine noise is very damped. Plus, it's all enclosed in thick Aluminum, so it's like a car; very quiet. About 2800 rpm. It's a Gori 3 blade prop. and also brand new antifouling on a calm day. Nope, No leaks at all - dry as a bone. No issues other than those from supplied items. eg./ a Leaking RIB. The Garcia folks seem to take quality VERY seriously, along with their reputation and want to remain as the top rated yachts.

@@sailingchloe2330 Thanks for this info. Yes, they're a quality yard. I was there within a week or two of your visit and came away impressed with all I saw. And heard! When the owner of a boat like yours fired up the engine for me, I was struck by how well the sound was damped by the insulated floor panels. I didn't get to hear how the engine sounds in the cockpit but I gather you're advising it's pretty quiet in that position too. I expect it's noisier in the technical room - obviously. How is the engine noise in the port aft cabin? That's where it'd be the most intrusive I'd think. I'll be keen to see any vids you make of early sailing experiences, with your impressions. Can you get Chloe up to 9 knots under sail?! Hopefully yes - please show the instrument readouts so we can see how it's done. I forgot to say 'Congratulations' up above; I raise my glass to you now. Enjoy the adventure. :-) Regards, Rick.
