For the milestone of Volume 900 I've chosen to present *two* Saturday Morning Cartoon blocks from 1986! Each part is self-contained. Part 2 can be seen here: th-cam.com/video/pQvKjqiG6H4/w-d-xo.html
I was born in 1982 and can relate to a lot of these commercials. There is something to be had about the era of time I grew up that I can connect with watching 80s - 90s commercials. I have been following this channel for almost 10 years. I enjoy watching these videos with a cup of coffee and reminiscing of the past. Thank you for all of your hard work in converting these treasures into time capsules that can be forever treasured by others. The best is yet to be! Happy 900!
McDonald's- The way those characters look in the story Ronald is telling to Grimace, you would have thought that Ronald is describing a nightmare he recently had to Grimace. Lucky Charms- Those swirled marshmallows look so stylish in that cereal in this commercial. Too bad they never looked as nice as they did in the commercial when you see them in an actual box of the cereal.
I'm 49 years old and still wish they put toys in cereal. And my favorite m&m was the carmel color. They have never been the same since they replaced it with blue.
45 here-and ya, blue M&Ms?! Ugh bring back the caramel color!!! And the toys in the cereal was so exciting!! Fruity Pebbles and Cinnamon Toast Crunch were my fave ❤
Saturday morning is a perfect time to release these Saturday morning commercials. Sunkist Fun Fruits: "You're supposed to chew them one by one, if you can control yourself." Now whenever I buy the fruit snacks, I tear open the package and put them all in my mouth.
Can I just say, Vault Master, that the audio quality given the tapes are 35+ years old, is impeccable. You and whoever else made the initial recordings and handled these tapes did a great job on them.
A good, clean tape recorded and played back on machines in good working order can and should still be fairly watchable, but yeah. Damn. I often wonder about @80sCommercialVault's digitization setup.
The quality of these captures are fantastic. It's almost as good as watching the original airing. I often wonder if kids today will have nostalgia for TV commercials when they're adults. I mean... do kids even watch TV anymore?
25:08 - Holy crap! I used to have that slide ruler with a pencil sharpener & multiplication table. Totally forgot about it but now I remember it so well.
This reeks of the 80s as it should! Awesome to see all three networks here too, it's what I used to do around this time switch all three when the best shows were on! But I probably missed the "Pterodactyl Tragedy" the day this was on! Oh the humanity!
18:37 - I like to think somewhere, people are facing certain death as a building is about to collapse on them, but Superman can't save them, because he's helping this girl in the kitchen.
Congrats on 900 volumes of 80's commercials! I've been loving your channel for years, & these commercials have certainly made my day. Here's to 100 more for 1,000 volumes, cheers! 🥂
Happy 900th video 🎉🎉🎉🎉 whoohoo what a milestone. I remember watching vol. 300 part 1 and 2. Thank you for having your channel 😊 Here's to many many more vols /videos 🎉
Congratulations on 900! been a big fan of these classic uploads for years!! - amazed pac-man pasta was still around in '86! I'm still bothered they didn't call the meatballs 'energizers' or 'power pellets', cmon it was *right there*! - aww man, free M.U.S.C.L.E. figure with Quik that would've been so cool as a kid. - computer critters! definitely one of my favorite educational bits from the 80s. - Didn't know there was a PSA with Superman, I just remember the one with Bugs Bunny! wonder if WB also commissioned that one?! - Laff-a-Lympics? I was team Scooby-Doobies for life, haha! - MASK -- okay this has been bugging me for 30+ years but anyone else ever remember seeing them live at like a theme park or something?! I feel like that was a thing back when the series was still big.
So I have to just be completely open and honest about this finally; but I honestly just get kinda annoyed whenever Superman walks into the kitchen unannounced while I'm cooking something and just starts to unplug and correct everything I'm doing as if I'm totally incompetent even though I think I was doing ok. I don't know how everyone else feels about this and maybe he means well but I just think it's time we all started talking about and doing something about how his behavior and how he comes across.
Barbecue would just show up in our backyard every single time we played with matches. My dad had to finally say something when we were melting ants with a magnifying glass and the dude showed up and asked if we wanted to go for a ride in his van.
Congrats on 900 80's commercials! Crazy we're getting so close to 1,000 volumes! Been watching your channel since around 2012 and I love and appreciate all that you've uploaded over the years. I've got to point out that some of these featured in the video have an early 90's feel to the style of commercials, like the cereal and toy clips.
the Early 90s was just all the good 80s stuff that survived the whole decade. Well before the aesthetic of gangsta rap and alternative/grunge/not-hair-metal washed all that out somewhere between '92 and '93.
M.A.S.K. - Action characters driving super powered transforming vehicles...How has this not become a big budget (and likely disappointing) live action film?
In The News: Pterodactyl Tragedy-R.I.P Ptero :( Laff-A-Lympics-thankfully the PED scandal involving Dastardly and Muttley was uncovered Ewoks and Droids-wouldve been interesting to see the Mandalorian appear in both shows Cookie Crisp-Zack Morris shouldve done a"Time Out" to stop that robot MASK-with what the Fast & Furious series has now turned into they should bring in Matt Trakker in a after credits scene for Fast X

Happy 900! Your channel has brought so much joy to my life. Here’s to 900 more!
So, Ghostbusters cereal had marshmallows, and they don't even use the Marshmallow Man to advertise it?
Could someone please bring the old days back 🥺 😢😢😢
80's will be considered simply amazing Television & great times growing up for me. Thanks for the upload.

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR 900 80s COMMERCIAL VAULT😎😎😎 🎊🎈🎉
Yes, we made it to 900. It's a two parter just what I wanted. Congratulations and let's make it to 1000
13:34 - Loo-Kee resembles every obnoxious 80s cartoon sidekick got thrown in a blender, and mixed together...
Some of the best commercials, ever! Those CBS Saturday Morning commercial bumpers were awesome!
Incredible to think we're finally at 900 editions.
I'm 49 years old and still wish they put toys in cereal. And my favorite m&m was the carmel color. They have never been the same since they replaced it with blue.
46 years old over here and digging through a full box of cereal with our unwashed kids hands was almost as good as eating the cereal itself.
45 here-and ya, blue M&Ms?! Ugh bring back the caramel color!!! And the toys in the cereal was so exciting!! Fruity Pebbles and Cinnamon Toast Crunch were my fave ❤

I have to separate them into piles of same colors. Lol.
Congratulations on 900 videos of 1980s commercials!
my god, so much nostalgia, I was born in 81 and yeah definitely remember a few of these.
900 volumes of 80s commercials! Congrats on the milestone and thank you for giving us all of this retro nostalgic goodness.
I’ve been watching your commercial collections since at least 2008! Congrats!
1:52 - A parachute? Considering how those kids are trapping and harassing him, they're lucky he didn't make a machine gun.
its been quite a fun ride seeing 900 volumes !
As usual a great collection of commercials. Only 100 to go til 1,000.
I demand PAC man pasta returns or we riot.
Congratulations on reaching volume 900 of 1980s commercials. Here's to hoping you will someday reach 1,000. :)

On this date March 24th 1986...
My sister turned 25 years old and I was 19 years old waiting to turn 20 in October...
THE best year of the 80's imo...
These aired on May 24th, not March 24th
@@80sCommercialVault in that case my mom turned 53 on the 18th of May, 1986 and I was working the first of 17 years at my first steady job...

I know, right?! He didn't have to unplug the mixer. That batter wasn't even done yet! Now the cake is ruined!!
He could have been nicer about it.
It's better than that crazy Koolaid dude busting through the wall.
Barbecue would just show up in our backyard every single time we played with matches. My dad had to finally say something when we were melting ants with a magnifying glass and the dude showed up and asked if we wanted to go for a ride in his van.
Congrats on reaching 900! Now let's go for 1000!
I had a my child 😢❤ Take me back!!!
I had no clue aquafresh existed back in the 80’s I used to use that toothpaste back when I was a kid.
First developed in the UK in 1973 and sold in the U.S. since at least 1979.

0:01 I didn't need to see anything else, that bumper was more than enough for me to "like" this video.
Honeycomb cereal is not small but it is big
M.A.S.K. - Action characters driving super powered transforming vehicles...How has this not become a big budget (and likely disappointing) live action film?
It also has the best 80's cartoon theme song: th-cam.com/video/1K7WYAC4H8g/w-d-xo.html
Water wiggle..... Apologies I wasn't ready 🤦🏾♀️
happy 900 to the best channel on youtube!
Congrats Mike on Vol 900.
I always thought those My child dolls were ugly back then😆
Wait until we get to 1000 and you'll see how much 80sCommercialVault has done over the past decade and a half.
Ebony speaks almost looks like a spoof sketch from 'the day today' or the 'fast show.'
In The News: Pterodactyl Tragedy-R.I.P Ptero :(

Man dude, you've must have an Library of Alexandria size archive of tapped tv breaks considering you've been uploading a ton of it for 13 years.
What a pterodactyl tragedy!
It's so weird to see cookie crisp without the wolf mascot
A mascot that didn’t appear until nearly 20 years after this?
@@80sCommercialVault yeah I'm just used to seeing him
It's weird to not see the cookie thief.
@@justmejenny7986 I grew up in the 2000s so I'm not used to it
Aww man,. M&Ms used to be so sexy!
