I am a South African and I know all about discrimination. The women in Afghanistan are treated worse than Black people were treated in South Africa during apartheid. The ICC and the world did the right thing and boycotted South Africa because of its horrible policies. What is the world and ICC going to do about the barbaric treatment of women in Afghanistan?
The women in Afghanistan are also people.

Great to see SA and British MPs standing up to toothless and useless ICC. They have one rule for one team and another set of rules for others. We don't want Afghanistan men team to play cricket at any cost, do we? ICC banned Sri Lanka for political interference and has been tolerating Afghanistan for the same thing. How come? Isn't it a double standard? Sports did a fantastic job in influencing South Africa's apartheid regime for a better outcome. The same should happen here. Kudos to Australia and England boards for refusing bilateral series with Afghanistan. Other boards should follow. Stand up for what is right, and don't they have a backbone?

The recent decision by some countries to boycott Afghanistan in the Champions Trophy has sparked discussions, and as an Afghan, I feel it’s important to reflect on the reality of such actions.
During Afghanistan's decades of war, which were significantly influenced by international involvement, including countries like the USA, Australia, and the UK, there was no similar call for boycotts or accountability for their roles in the conflict. Now that Afghanistan has found some semblance of peace, it’s disheartening to see a stand being taken against the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB), which has operated independently and without substantial support from the Afghan government throughout its history.
Afghan cricket has been a unifying force, providing hope and joy to millions. Instead of isolating the ACB, it would be more constructive to support sports as a platform for unity and progress.
However, it is also vital to recognize the unwavering support we’ve received from India. Without India’s backing, especially under the leadership of Mr. Jay Shah, Afghanistan Cricket might not have survived. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to India for keeping our dreams alive and for standing by us during our most critical moments.
    Thank you, India, from Afghanistan.❤‍🩹

You lot keep talking about the stand taken against Afghanistan cricket team but you don't talk about your own government's mistreatment of women, not allowing them to play cricket.
If you have this kind of mindset, you should not complain about other teams boycotting your team...

What can Afghanistan men team do for not allowing their women to play? If Sharia law is introduced in UK, there will be no sports for women . The way things and politics going in England, it’s not too far to implement Sharia law

How is Australia’s decision hypocritical? In icc event icc makes the choice. Even India also plays with Pakistan in icc tournaments but not in bilateral fixtures

We can encourage the Afghan cricket board to constitute a women cricket team but boycott is very regressive step other way should be exploited love to Afghanistan from India.

Isolating people of Afghan for sins of Taliban . Isn't it unfair? That's what usa had done to North Korea and eventually it turned to 0 with PPL of Nk this leaving Lil to no chance of bringing them to freedom. Even Arab changed with their contact with outside world , the more lock and devoid you keep them, they will become more & more conservative and radical. On positive note, cricket is the most popular sport in afg therefore most of the country will be watching outside world looking at world with different perspective. They be seeing females cheering and how men of other countries don't look down at their women. Taliban can't deny cricket because they love it too. 🤭
    *Keep sports and politics separate*

Women's right very important but simply boycotting afghanistan won't do any good Theirs nothing afghanistan cricket board could do about this..
Afghanistan has already suffered a lot.
Do not atleast snatch cricket from them.
Give them some time to upgrade and i hope in future you will see afghanistan women's cricket team as well.
