As you know I’m a paper crafter…mostly cards. However, I’ve always admired those who can draw and paint with creativity and you certainly have that gift! Thanks so much for sharing your work with us! Art is in the eye of the beholder and we are all our own worst critics! Many that you shared and said you didn’t like I loved! You may have been going for a different look and perspective and the end result didn’t fit the image you had in mind but to me those looked whimsical and cheerful! Keep up with the mixed media videos because you inspire me to grab a paint brush and go out of my comfort zone and give it a try! ❤ what you are doing! Hugs, Barb

Thanks, Barb ❤ It's so true, that like beauty, art is in the eye of the beholder. Same thing happened years ago when I showed my old mixed media journal to mom. It amazed me how all the ones she picked as her favorites were all of the ones I found least appealing. The one I thought was total garbage was her absolute favorite.. blew my mind! LOL. I do have a love for 'full on' mixed media. I appreciate your support 🥰❤

It's funny, because we're planning on going camping and I've been wanting to get back into my drawing again and have packed my sketch pad and pencils.

Its funny how your eyes see different things in a picture. The one in your journal that is the light blue with a spot in the middle and dark shapes around the sides...you said was looking up through the trees. When you first turned the page, I saw a pretty blue flower with lacey pedals and a light color center and then when you said trees, then I could see trees also.
All your work is very pretty.

On the "dropped brush" oopsie, you could maybe paint a "string" from the band area that will go behind the back of the brim to make it look like a feather dangle, maybe try to add a couple more oopsies to make it longer. Idk, just an idea.
