David Bowies Let's Dance album sounded so good on vinyl. At a period in the UK when all were hooked onto synth music, it was such a refreshing relief for us in the UK. If you could do that I'd be thrilled. Thanks for the music.
Oh wow! I am from Canada and I bought this 12 inches when it was released. Your copy is immaculate compared to the North American Releases. Unfortunatly at 4:16 into the song, there is distortion on the right channel as if during the cut, a contact problem happened a until the end of the song here I don't hear it at all. Probleme here in Canada we got the same master than in the us. Not only that I got a 12 inches on CD wich has that version same distortion at the same time. But it seems that the one made at 45 RPM compare to the one in North America had a different tape master wich is correct but the master for the 33.3 RPM has the problem.

Just to let you know (and from earlier comments between us you know my ears don't lie): it is now certain to my ears [and while I have no idea how they are doing it (wish I knew because the file info is the same in both cases)] -- that your stuff definitely sounds better when I listen to it in an incognito window compared to a normal id'd window. Wish some of your other USA listeners would check it out and comment. This band SO clearly illustrates it in the lingering echo and trailing fuzz on the opening crash as things start. I'll happily keep listening incognito even tho I have to keep two windows open if I want to make a comment.
That's interesting... if you right click on the video when it's playing and go to 'stats for nerds' what does it say in the Codecs section? You're looking for Opus (251)
@@AudioPhil1 I've done that any number of times and always see the same data. That's why I said I don't know how they're doing it. The browser requests surely go to different servers so they may be digitally filtering things differently on different servers -- which they could legally get away with if they knew the target was in the usa. Perhaps they are incentivizing as well as persistently bugging me to buy their "premium" streaming service. At best, that's all a wild guess. I'm not enough of a hacker to try to chase this down. That's also why I wish some other usa folks with good ears would try it out.
