Oh well, you get a Plano ammo can out of the deal and you can never have enough ammo cans laying around
I've been quite happy with the AAC I've tried in 5.56 and 9mm (PMC has been my baseline for bulk ammo). I'm slowly accepting that the days of feeding the AK for 13 cents a round are long gone, but it is good to know this is running well as the cheap Russian stuff is depleted from the inventory.

@@Ratkill9000 out of spec ammo My FMJ 762 are all over the place as far as depth in the case. Lots of people seeing it. The blade rounds are good to go but the FMJ are out of spec
The AAC grouped better because it had a standard deviation (sd) of 9 when the Russian ammo had a sd of 51. The smaller sd means all the rounds are flying at a similar velocity, which directly correlates with how close together they will land on paper if the shooter is doing their part.
The AAC Projectile seems to be shaped more like the Original WWII German MP44 7.92x33mm Projectile. The Original AK47 Cartridge was Loaded to be Ballistically Equivalent to the 7.62x33mm round intially. Not mentioned was that the AAC is boxer primed like some of the Serbian brass case. 51 cents per round isn’t too bad. Compared to $1 5.7 by 28….it would be nice tho if you buy the bulk box you get it cheaper but thats just me
Dude for real I’ve been waiting for this yeaeaeah.
Ran some new Soviet Arms ammo from PSA over the weekend. Ran great. No issues and was very consistent. Much cleaner than Wolf. Not nearly as much Carbon buildup. Will buy again.
Great video, thank you Sir.
I really like PSA's products.
This is great news as ammo cost and availability was the main impediment to moving an AK purchase higher up in priority for me.
what's funny was how consistent the Chinese steel core from the 90's was, really about the same for $100 for 1,000 rounds!
I hope they make eventually make a sks.
Great video thanks tim
PSA's G5 with the FN barrel has been quite accurate for me. I wonder how it would do with this ammo?
Albania has endless tons of this old stuff. It still works well.
Looks like they bumped the speed up on the load. Good on them!
Would have loved to have seen the Sabre round compared as well, thanks for the video and maybe you could revisit with the sabre in the future!
I’ve been eagerly awaiting this 😎
Wish PSA would make a modern SKS rifle.
Been using it for a while. Love it!
Any issues? My FMJ were out of spec. They shot fine but the bullet seating was all over the place. My blade rounds look great though
@@Grizzlyman420 yeah but it hasn't effected accuracy that I've noticed. Guns run just fine on it.
@@mccjoe01 so you’ve noticed the same thing I have?
I see an SKS in the background, if you have any old chi-com steel ball do what I did and see the accuracy!
M855A1 There was Some Put up I Found them in a Magazine in the Woods 760 Magazine 30 06 Some one was Hunting Dear with them Ridiculous,Long Time Ago
I like the longer projectile. Make more sense for ballistics.
Chicago is here ✊🏾💪🏾
Everything I seen was inconsistent high dollar steel case. Shame cuz I have multiple x39’s. Love the cartridge
Looks like some good ammo. I have tried some other ACC ammo and it was good. 👍
On PSA's website it says..."Developed with and manufactured by Hornady"...so I wonder how that works out...
LOL for a second, I thought you were shooting my Yugo, very close copy indeed!
I tested and got 100-150ft per second less with the AAC than Macedonian surplus. Just bought it… it ran fine but highly variable fps
That bullet from the AAC round looks like a Hornady 123 gr FMJ
Solid, Thank You
I wonder how well the 123 gr Sabre black with the polymer tip shoots?
Thanks MAC. Looking forward to being able to buy from an American manufacturer.
Here is a solid question. Will they make percussion caps like #10 caps, #11 caps and Musket caps? Percussion caps are extremely hard to find.
Are the primers corrosive on the AAC ammo
its about time someone made a video using an ar style firearm.
Looks like another AAC win!!
Good to know. They also make some decent 10mm that's affordable.
Thanks for this
The early batches of AAC 7.62x39 had issues with the rounds being out of spec or too long. Hopefully they have fixed that now.
Why is the 7.62 by 39 has so many type of ammunition ?
Bullets kinda look like Hornady's bulk 7.62x39 FMJs. I'm guessing that's where they're getting them. I load them up along with SSTs for 7.62x39.
Their blade is loaded with hornady SST as well
just FYI the only brass cased ammo that grouped under 2 inches was Bing, Bing, Bing, "PMC"
