best regards basically we apply resistance, it places a obstruction to current flow, the amount of oppose to flow of current provided by resistor will cause to voltage drop across the resistor according to ohm's law V= I x R

This circuit is very similar to a Viotek 550W Power Supply that I am using to power CB radio equipment. I have the 12V line adjusted to 13.8V. I would like to make the overvoltage and overcurrent protection less sensitive. My main concern is a dead short. A 47k ohm - 100k ohm between LM339 pin 5 and ground seems to accomplish this. Is this acceptable or is there a better way?

Currently I only get 5.1v and 0.5A on red and black wires. Jumper green+black cable to turn on the ATX power supply. Thank you.

Hi i have a smiilar power supply, violet wire is 5v, green wire is 4.89v, but green to ground doesnt start the psu.

please check shunt regulator
most of the time it have a mosfet or transistor, being controlled by TL431 / any OPAMP or ATX supervisor IC
