I really wish people who uploaded lyric videos understood that the lyrics need to appear slightly BEFORE they're sung so the people who are singing along don't stumble over the words they don't know by heart yet. This is such a problem with certain lyrics videos and finding the ones that "get it" is so difficult.

The point of lyric videos is to show the lyrics as they appear in the song. What you're looking for is a sing-along video, or a karaoke video if you want to sing it without the lead singer's vocals. Unfortunately, there aren't as many uploads of sing-alongs for anime OSTs as there are lyric videos.
