It's insane what Mikael did in E standard.
He's a musician who really explored harmony, melody and the guitar as an instrument. You can't hope to find the solution for the monotony of your music by using lower tunings if the only thing you can do is playing a bunch of powerchords.

This riff is my favorite!
I used to love jamming to this on guitar, and I typically would feel like that, where I was lost, while playing along, the riff is trance like so that makes sense.
I get chills every time I hear this.

Opeth has so many good songs across all the album's . I listen to them 20 years ago in high school and even 2021 today I always enjoying different songs .
