The main takeaway of this lecture is that the entire thought process of modern secular society (especially in the West) revolves around denial of revelation (even if they don't deny Allah), thus their education system subconsciously teaches us to undermine the whole concept of religious texts (Qur'an and Sunnah) being revelation from Our Creator in favour of secular thoughts and opinions, using the latter as a yardstick for the former as if the latter is certainty and the former is mere 'fairy tales' despite the reality being the other way around. This is a very slippery slope given the latter built its foundations on denying the former in the first place, thus those of us Muslims affected by this indoctrination (may Allah protect us) develop an inferiority complex and often fall into either of two outcomes:
(1) EX-MUSLIM: They start to doubt Islam when they realise how many verses of the Qur'an and hadith of the Messenger (peace be upon him) oppose the secular ideologies and opinions they were accustomed to within the society, thus eventually apostate from the religion.
(2) APOLOGIST: If they are still determined that Islam must be the truth, they will try to reconcile the two conflicting matters of revelation and opinions, thus adjust (distort) the interpretation of such verses and hadith in order to force conformity with those secular ideologies.

1:04 Dawkins didn't mention aliens out of desperation, when he was pushed into the corner😅 - he believes in evolution here, on earth, as the source of complexity. but he accepts aliens as a _possible_ source of complexisty. and he totally agrees, that those aliens should have evolved anyway - he's not _"pushing the problem away"_ , as if trying to hide it
