i forgot how beautiful conference talks are
I love the prophet and apostles. They help me so much. I appreciate all their messages. I proudly stand and sustain them as the Lord's servants.

I remember when he came to our stake conference. We were sitting sitting in the middle toward the back. You could feel the presence that he was a prophet of God an apostle of God we cried we cried we were so filled with joy. Conference ended . They escorted Elder uchtdorf. My daughter and I said goodbye and separated I got into I was stalked the man said wait we have traffic I said okay. Slowly a black SUV drove by I was about one foot away I suddenly saw a man and the back seat it was Elder uchtdorf I said oh my gosh Elder uchtdorf we love you I love you he waved goodbye we love you too!. I was so shocked I couldn't even wait till I get home to tell my daughter I said guess what happened
I just love Elder Uchdorf. He touches my spirit every time he speaks
The teachings of Elder Uchtdorf always hit home with me. I feel so much brighter and hopeful after listening to this talk.
I am friends with a couple who just believe in science. They told me that they had a problem with Christianity because people don't practice what they preach. However, they've seen the light in my eyes and say, "We know you're different, because you live what you believe.."

Fear is the greatest enemy to faith and happiness. Great reminder.
The word that sticks out in my mind the most that we work on daily is the word IDENTITY. What we identify in life is what becomes the service. The service is what we actknowledge in the gifts of exceptance and grace to receive due to excepting all things with love and rightousness.
Wonderful council in a time when we need it so very much. Thanks for these talks from the past. Tomorrow we will hear the talks of of the present. 🥰

My wife is Vietnamese. Their culture refers a lot to food and feasting because they often went hungry. I have noted that this wonderful man, an apostle of the Lord refers to feasting. Why? Because he knows hunger and poverty. God bless those who hunger and thirst after righteousness.

Even when we are far away from the epicenter of an abundant Religious culture and people, as we are righteous, we can still receive revelation.
God can help us exercise our Spiritual Gifts no matter the place and time, even in the midst of Babylon or when we may be forced to limit our religious expressions.
Like Daniel, the people of Alma and later the people of Limhi choose to follow God to the best of their abilities.

Dieter Uchtdorf's talk really helped me turn mt heart to my God this morning. What a difference it made in my day, for my mind to contemplate his words of light, replacing the noise of the latest TV show or rock song I'd listened to previously
I love this talk. He is so right about it being easy to be cynical or not believing. But to stay true to the gospel of Jesus Christ and God our Father takes effort.

I adore listening to Elder Uchtdorf! Sometimes he talks with some humor, but the talk today teaches us how strong Daniel was at such a young age, was strong in his faith. A sure and perfect lesson to us. Be strong in our faith.
