He has also started winning second balls now. The profile of Valverde with even more in the locker, he is already world class and one of the best, but his potential is the best midfielder in the world, we have to help him achieve that. Any top team would beg to have a player of this calibre and with this much potential.

I think the only thing I would disagree with would be that he is the 2nd best set peice taker after trent. I would say macallister, and I know he hasn't been put on free kick duty aside from trent and szobo but when he takes corners I just feel more comfortable than any other player cause they have been consistently good. In contrast, sometimes when szobo lines up a free kick I mostly expect it to hit the wall, although I can see that he able to hit it with pace
