The reason Charlotte takes pictures of you hold her skill is because there is gadget that works with her travel passive that was given out during an event. You have to turn it off to get her hold skill to work. Which is important because you want to use the hold version usually.

The camera attachment came out the same patch as the event. If you got it when the event was active, it was through a scene with the event NPC.
Not sure what happens for people that started playing after the event. The wiki’s description suggests to me that the event NPC will still show up, do nearly the same scene, then leave.
kekvin , to remove that camera feature from her skill go to your bag and switch of the lens gadget
I build her as a healer/driver. Fav Codex, 2pc Emblem + 2pc atk (atk, atk, crt rate) with ER at 220% and 2100 atk.
Atk is kinda low isn't it, to gain furinas fan fare points it's less
Her only downside is how un-optimal it is to need to use her fully charged skill to get her best cryo application. She feels like a quick swap unit, but she’s not getting the full value without that fully charged skill. And it’s more limited than something like Nahida’s skill. Other than that, she’s a solid healer with one of the best single burst party heals in the game. The only other issue is working around the fact that she only heals off burst.
Just slap a bunch of er and the healing only coming from burst aint a problem. I think its actually quite great that you can squeeze some dmg and cryo application from her other than just healing
I know she's supposed to be a healer, but I want to build her as a DPS and pair her with Shenhe.

She’s my second favorite Fontaine character after Navia I just finished leveling Xianyun and Ayaka so I’m also low on books but definitely building her with Navia for Fontaine story.

Imagine using charlotte and zhongli shield you could just take photos of enemies easily without having to worry about taking damage
after nahida i really want to build charlotte, i like her alot and i think shes really fun to play
idk why I feel like Charlotte is secretly a 5 stars
I was very impressed when I switched her out so I can do damage to the giant pyro flower.
just finished leveling her on both of my accounts. just need to level talents and artifacts!
