    I had a silver 78 Regal with the 3.8 liter V6 and had nothing but trouble with it and had 75,000 miles on it. Had my mechanic pull it out and put a used 350 V8 in it and ran great after that swap. This 78 doesn’t look too bad other than the rear quarters. Too bad you couldn’t keep it on the road. I still have my parents 80 Cutlass Supreme with 38K on the 260 V8. Wish it had the 307, but it still runs well. Always enjoy your videos and Welcome back.

    I had a 1984 Buick Regal coupe. It was a cream color with blue interior. Had a cassette radio, rear defogger, 3.8 litre V6, power windows, power locks, sport mirrors, bucket seats with dual recliners, rallye wheels. I have money coming from a settlement and plan to buy a GM G body car just as a hobby car.

    So glad to see you post another video! I've had a G-body since 1993, but it wasn't until I started watching your channel a few years ago that I realized I barely knew anything about the car. From going through and refreshing the gauge cluster, to replacing the dry-rotted window sweeps, I've learned and applied so much from your videos. In fact, it was the first channel I ever subscribed to. Keep up the good work. I appreciate the time and energy you put into filming, editing, posting etc. Especially considering you have to balance that with work and family. Hats off to you!

    That sticker is an inspection sticker. They did put the registration on the plate but don't do that anymore as it's electronic. But yea that's an inspection sticker on the windshield. If you ever get one with two stickers it came from a county that requires emissions also.

    What a blast from the past. I haven't heard a carbureted 231 running in several years. I had several G-bodies and got out of them to get into Mopars. I'm keen to get back into the scene but I never see one on the road and rarely on Facebook marketplace. I drag raced my 1985 Grand Prix against my buddy's '78 regal and those 2G-equipped engines run much better than the later version. It ran off and left the GP. I think theyredesigned the heads on them at one point.

      @@ClassicGBodyGarage I did not know how else to write you. I figured out why my 79 Cutlass came with a fiberglass hood and a HO motor. I bought it from Centech Corp it was a fleet vehicle also known as a COPO so to speak. I was very young when I bought it I thought they all ad the same. My choice vehicle then was a new pickup. After having it 24 hours with 1 inch thick sway bars and the power it had fell in love. It is shiny brown like a sleeper. • @ClassicGBodyGarage
      @ClassicGBodyGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching! I have done that line many times. It's a job to route it back in place but it's possible. Yes removing the body is best but in most cases is not an option. I always put tape over each end of the line so dirt doesnt get inside. Its actually more difficult if it's one solid line which places like InLine Tube sell but I do 2 pieces with a brass junction cuz it's easier to install a short line up there vs a long one. Chances are you wont get the line exactly how it was from the factory but as long as its secure and doesnt rub on anything. Good luck.
