Hi Brian, cool channel. Quick question for you, where can I buy the rubber strips that push into the chrome bumpers on a 79 Grand Prix? Not the 2 " rubber blocks" but the 2 thin black rubber strips that run horizontal across the length of the bumpers. They have the tabs that push into the small holes all the way across the bumpers to hold them in. I can't find them anywhere!!! So frustrating!! Any ideas? I also need the clear reverse light lenzs that go in rear bumper. Thanks any info is appreciated 👍
Do you have any videos or can you make one about the stock emissions system? I have a 1979 chevy el camino that Im trying to get to pass emissions. I have my new carb, charcoal canister, smog pump, and bracket, egr valve, all i need is the smog diverter valve. I need to know more about the smog pump tubing, i only have driver side smog "tubing" not sure what they are called. Im going off the manual but it very limited on detail. Can you help with some footage or advice?
Smog pumps have tubes on both heads. If you are having trouble passing then lean out the carb and put it back after it passes. Also make sure your oil is clean.
I cant figure out the passenger side tubes. I got my oil changed. Got all my parts except that passenger side tubing. I cant find where it would connect to manifold.

Welcome back! Transmission is already out, so maybe I'm making this seem more difficult than it is!
Thanks for watching! I have done that line many times. It's a job to route it back in place but it's possible. Yes removing the body is best but in most cases is not an option. I always put tape over each end of the line so dirt doesnt get inside. Its actually more difficult if it's one solid line which places like InLine Tube sell but I do 2 pieces with a brass junction cuz it's easier to install a short line up there vs a long one. Chances are you wont get the line exactly how it was from the factory but as long as its secure and doesnt rub on anything. Good luck.
