I used to watch itsjudyslife pretty much everyday back when it was just Judy and Benji. I continued to watch them when they had their 3 kids, but a couple years ago I stopped watching them because it just felt weird knowing they relied heavily on their kids for content and that they’re really not old enough to understand and consent to being in all these videos (yes they are their parents and can decide what to do with their kids, but still). I’m glad you guys talked about this topic!

On the podcast with Phillip defranco he began the vlog thinking he would never have burn out. Then he said he was the most burnt out he could get. I think he was going into it naive as hell. Casey is a workaholic and I think he thought he could work through it and if he pushed hard enough he would be the exception. But he wasn’t. And plus he said was deliberately avoiding fights. In his mind since there were no fights that means it was okay. He was deluding himself.
You have to remember he was also starting Beme, and everything that went along with that. It wasn’t JUST the vlog. How many times did he leave work late in the vlog because he was working on his startup? Almost every one, especially early in the vlog. How he was doing everything was crazy.
