    Can't say about Perth but must have seen 100s of punk gigs in Sydney from early mid '80s to early '90s, violence was extremely rare and venues were quite safe, most people were there for just for the music and like company.
    Violence however was far more common in normal clubs, if not over women, it was over Taxis...

      Yeah not quite. After Quick and The Dead fell apart, some members re-grouped to form a short lived band which was called Final Solution. The singer and guitarist quit not long after and formed White Noise with a new bass player and drummer.
