    Hi Vijay Mohan Sir, Thanks for this analysis. Highly underrated channel. My 2 cents - Suggest to split the video's for India and US markets so as to gather more traffic. US related videos could be in English so that Pan-Indian NRI/Global audience can be benefited & adds more subscribers. Indian video could be in Tamil to start with, to relish the nativity & subtle humor :) law of deferred tax compounding is amazing. wish we had such financial teachers rt from our early college days ! Pls do give a thought on penning a book!

    Your Videos are really helpful and Genuine in accepting that this is just a theory and it could vary in realtime.. Its the fact people should understand..
    I have a very basic question on the returns you have stated above
    Let's say I have invested Rs.10000 ( ex: Bought 100 share ( Rs.100/share) and got a return of 10% in the first year.. The next year ,you have calculated that investment would be 11000... But that can happen only if I sell and re-invest the money again right? ( Should we do that in longterm every year?)
    To be clear, Can you explain this in number of shares and its cost perspective?( because I assume If we are not going to sell and re-invest, the number of shares remains same in next 25 years)

    • @InvestmentInsightsTamil
      @InvestmentInsightsTamil  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No. The units remain the same. The growth is in the price of the units. For example, Nasdaq 100 ETF QQQ was $54 10 years ago and now it is at $382. This means it has grown at a rate of 21.6% in the last 10 years. If I have bought 1 unit of this ETF 10 yrs ago, I would have paid $54. Not its price is $382. Makes sense?

    • @muthukumarramasamy1552
      @muthukumarramasamy1552 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@InvestmentInsightsTamil ah got it.. So in my case, assuming the stock has avg return of 12% every year which means the stock price will be ~Rs.400 after 25 years?

    • @InvestmentInsightsTamil
      @InvestmentInsightsTamil  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@muthukumarramasamy1552 Yes. That is correct.

    • @muthukumarramasamy1552
      @muthukumarramasamy1552 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@InvestmentInsightsTamil Sounds good.. this works for a lump sum one time investment and watch it growing every year.. How do you compare this with regular investment.. What would be the ideal return for the same.. Let's say, I have Rs.1000 and I bought 10 shares ( 100/share) today.. After a year the share price increase to 120.. I bought another 10 shares ( 120/share).. So now my profit % split it into half..[ I invested 2200 with avg cost of share 110/share - So now the profile would be ~ 9%) .. Assuming that repeats every year, what would be ideal % of return one should expect after 25 years.

    Sir
    is it better to invest in ELSS or other tax benifit fund which provides better returns over long time, when compared to PPF?
    Currently PPF provides ~8%
    ELSS funds provided around ~12-16%

    Sir, I have a question regarding withdrawal of upto ₹1 lakh every year and buying back the fund again on LTCG. The NAV at the time of buying might be more in comparison to the ones we are selling. Which one is best based on the scenario you have given, i) Liquidating once for all at the end of 25 yrs or ii) Reinvesting in index after selling gain amount =< ₹1 lakh

      Totally personal choice. It depends on the amount. If the portfolio is huge, it might not be worth the time. But if the portfolio is small, may be it is worth doing it. And yes, the price could be potentially higher in 2 days. We have to make a call on whether to do it for saving the tax or not. There is no "best" way for that.

    Hello Sir, as you suggest for beginners better avoid trading due to risk. My doubt is, if we invest in a good stock like TCS,Relaxo which has proven history and keep it hold for long term (15-20yrs) what risk it is going to associate with? since the share price of such companies were always keep increasing despite of the entry price in long term. Pl advise

    • @InvestmentInsightsTamil
      @InvestmentInsightsTamil  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can definitely buy individual stocks if you believe in their future growth. But if you look back at the history, you will notice that top companies keep changing every decade and it is very hard to identify the top companies. Saying that, if you feel confident about a business, go ahead and buy it.

    Sir u said 1.5 tax exemption which is applied for everytime we receive 1.5 lac profit. If we reinvest again and again should we get benifited , then why they introduced ELSS mutual fund , I can't understand

    • @InvestmentInsightsTamil
      @InvestmentInsightsTamil  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I said 1 Lakh. That is different from ELSS. You can see it as additional tax benefit that we could potentially take advantage of.

      If there is already a similar established fund in the market, there is no reason to look for a NFO. Just avoid it.
