I don’t know why but I love a good travel prep vlog. It’s always so exciting to see what people pack and where they’re going 💛

for the middle part: use a closed pen or pencil (or anything with a smaller tip) and follow along the line of your nose and SLOWLY run it through your hair to part it. i have very thick hair that also tends to go crooked, but this usually works for me!!

I'm native so I braid my hair A LOT, it's so easy and quick for me.
I usually separate my hair till both sides feel the same thickness in my hands then I run a finger down, which ever strand I feel belongs on what side I move it there. It's not always perfect but it's fast and usually works.

To find the middle part down the back, I usually use a pencil and it works almost every single time. Also, this a great video. Keep doing what you’re doing 🫶🏻

For parting hair down the middle I usually take a rat tail comb and make the motion of drawing a line down the back of my head with it. I then use the comb to keep a separation between the two sides of hair and after tie them away from each other. To see if it’s good or not I take a hand held mirror and hold it up to the back of my head while also standing in front of a regular mirror. Sometimes you have to angle the mirror a little so you can see certain parts of your head but this pretty much always works for me!!

Okay for braids, i normally use like a pointy tip of a comb or pencil and then record the back of my head while holding my hair to see if i got it straight!! love the hair & hope you have fun!!

I love ur videos!!! Also for the middle part, u can use the pointy part for the general part, and then use the comb side with the prongs at ur scalp and drag it back along your part, it should make it look straighter. if that made any sense then I hope this helps!

I agree with you, Cabins smell so bad!! I take trips to South Africa every 4 years to visit my family, so the plane ride is soo long. However, I tell them to put coffee powder on the ground to relive the smell. They normally do this to block out vomit smells, but they allowed me to do it because I didn't like the smell

this may not be a hack necessarily but when i’m parting my hair down the back i just make sure that my comb is constantly touching my scalp as i’m going down the back of my head. if it’s not then you’ll skip some hair and it won’t be straight. also using a small mirror to look at the back of your head in a larger mirror might be easier to check if it’s straight.
