Grab a snack (or use the Chapters 😂), you know how I get when I'm talking about things I truly love. If you are part of the Fabulous 40+ please leave YOUR beauty faves below, too!
Yes please to the skincare routine, and yes to the PR products you would purchase yourself. Also: you have finally convinced me to grab Strawberry Shock! 🙂
The Hourglass edits and the Hourglass powder blushes and bronzers are great for textured skin. I find creamy blushes, bronzers and highlights are more difficult on textured skin.
Kelly, as a markup artist can you grab someone, or from experience do a video for 55+? I hate to admit I don't fall in the 40+ category, but things don't sit the same as at 40... didn't have many wrinkles until 50. ❤ *makeup I'm leaving it as it cracked me up. 😂
I mean I DO mark up faces I guess 😉 Can I ask what some of the issues/struggles are that you’re having now? That way I’ll know some of what to make sure to address
@KeepBeautyReal1 catching in wrinkles, and not sinking in. Just wants to rub off instead of blending, or sits on top. And eyes... mess. Drags and sticks where I don't want and flies off where I do. These all are with different combos of preps, products, and applicators. Feeling like maybe makeup just isn't for me anymore. *I was not prepared to live this long. Lol
@@Karin77722 I get it! Changing faces are frustrating! I am definitely planning on doing a few “tips” videos this fall and winter. I’ll see if I can wrangle up a good model but if not I can certainly share some tips!
Ah that’s a great question and I’m sorry I didn’t say anything in the video! Personally, I just use it on bare lids, but I think you COULD use a primer. Since I’m usually using concealer on my lids just to brighten and hide discoloration when I do my eyes, if I’m using a really saturated liquid shadow it just seems like a step I don’t need and then I don’t have to worry about the concealer slightly mixing with the liquid and changing the color. But I would think it would play well with primers if you have one you love.

Ooooh Jill I know you will LOVE it! Honestly Strawberry Shock is just one of those shades that you put on and immediately feel put together.

Hello! Hope you’re having a good start to Fall 🫶

Yes the hourglass powders are so finely milled they are lovely. Very soft focused!

Yes please. I’m okay if I go light handed but I’d especially love some tips for doing more dramatic makeup for special events.
Oh, one more question: Do you need an eye primer before using the About Face Eye Paints, or are they best on bare eyelids? Thanks!
