He was released after only 3 years in prison despite his string of serious convictions thats the problem right there

I did 7 years for my first offense in New York state for writing a bad check for $140. I think the system is plenty harsh. You can't base opinion on a single or even a few cases. You haven't a clue til you experience it yourself.

Everytime I watch dark curiosities my eyes well up in tears at the people who have lost there lives and the sad music in the background, I wish we could have them all back I really do .

I feel the same. Dark Curiosities really captures how sad these cases are instead of making them into some horror thing. I love the amount of time spent on what the victim was like in life too.
We can never know ahead of time but I can only imagine how painful it must have been to think: "what if I just finished riding with her all the way home?" I've learned about this case. It really is heartbreaking
Yes I too pondered that one. It must be so painful. Then again why on earth didn't both sets of parents object to this practice and insist the boyfriend see's that Sierah is back home safe again every time they see each other?

I am Australian but lived in the US. I would be highly surprised if anything came out of any Bill there. It’s such a disjointed country that could have a raving freaking serial killer on the East Coast & everyone on the West would be ignorant. Plus, the police seem to be isolated into their little townships. I’m so sorry for this baby gal. Xx
Worley should've never been let out after his first kidnapping. 3 years was just ridiculous.
And it’s always for things like “good behavior” as if being an upstanding citizen is what got them in prison in the first place 🙄
Those who took the decision to initially release Worley should be publicly named.
I know someone has to do it, but being a defence attorney must take some serious ability to mentally and emotionally dissociate from one’s job.

The fact that Worley gave a rambling 45 minute 'speech' to the court tells us all we need to know about his defence team's attitude towards him. If they actually thought he might be innocent or cared about him an any way, they would have advised him better and prepared a half-decent statement for him to read.
Here's a suggestion for a case that has never been covered by any YT true crime channels ; the 1990 murder of Detective Dennis Wustenhoff in North Patchogue NY , killed by a car bomb in front of his house . Remains unsolved with several theories floating around.

There was no evidence of sexual assault yet her body was found with her hands cuffed behind her back with a gag in her mouth and she was wearing a diaper that certainly points to her being sexual assaulted prior to her murder

The terror and suffering Sierah experienced is chilling. Three years for his first charge; that is disgusting and insulting. Violent offender’s need to serve their full sentences Of course Worley didn’t plead guilty, these deviants never do. This beast meant to SA Sierah but couldn’t. I am sincerely sorry for Sierah’s family and boyfriend. The 5k run made me cry, as did the planting of the two trees in Sierah’s memory.
I remember there was a 20/20 episode about this that aired on October 27th, 2023.

I grew up a town over from this case, I was in middle school but I remember it like yesterday. It was so horrifying. I hope Sierah rests in peace. Worley can rot in hell.

I live about 20 mins from where this case took place, and a friend of mine went to school with her. Very sad and affected the whole community a great deal.

I thought the victim looked familiar, and I’ve seen it covered elsewhere. This case is heartbreaking. The deviant perpetrator deserved a lot more for his crime earlier crime, as it certainly indicated where he was heading with his behavior. It’s disheartening to know the freedom of a male takes priority over the loss of life of a young woman- in so many of these cases.

I just want to say: I agree that you name the culprit by his last name, but referring to the victim would be better by her first name and not her last name. It's more respectful and makes her more human rather than using her last name like you did the evil Morley. Her name is Sierah.
