Even after watching the whole video, I'm still finding myself in weird positions when considering the correct moment to commit the Masquerade Ball. Would you care to share an additional top or maybe point me in the right direction (like another video for me to check perhaps)? I don't know, he is such a round 3 card when doom no longer means much. I did use doom status from him once, to set-up vincent. Edit. After seeing this video I realized he can be used round 1 as well. Still learning the card, I guess.

That looks so fun to play, but I feel I get lost with so many status options lol. What about using Vattier de Rideaux, who was affected by the last patch? I was running a fun pure lock deck with this card, but now it seizes cards with “spy” status and not “lock” anymore :( Keep up with the good content!
Hi Thea, this really is a killer deck, finally I can counter some Elven Deadeyes. It seems like new patch changed provision on something, and it's off by 1 point. I swapped one Blightmaker for one Mage Torturer and it looks good so far, but if you have any other suggestions I would be happy to hear :)
Kids these days dont know that we grandpas had to fight against enemies who use masquerade balls twice. This was before scenario gets doomed status. You can actually play it more than twice in a match by duplicating it using villgefortz and imperial practitioner but ive never seen anyone do it
That will just kill the card. Phillip requires a lot of set-up to pull off and gives the opponent a lot of options to answer it. Gwent has a lot of OP cards that just pure points on deploy, why kill a card that actually requires some work to get the full value?
Theres alot of versions of this deck floating around...ive been trimming & clipping myself. For the milfgaurd homies heres a quick tip...lethos. thats all im saying.

update pls. Vincent now costs 10 provision.
I will try if Will o' the Wisp is an alternative to Hunting Pack. Even if Hunting Pack helps to thin, the Wisp could get quick value with Philippe.
Even just by giving doom, Phillipe being able to ruin skellige ressurections and monster sabbath makes me want to include him in decks.

@@Greamzih I feel that's assuming a long round. I would be tempted to use him going second in the first round as much as possible.

I tried making this and it says it costs 1 too many provisions...can't figure out where I messed up.
You didn't mess up. The "Mage Assassin" provision cost was changed from 4 to 5.

This sounds fun but the provision cost is off and you can't import this deck due to mage assassins provision cost being changed.

When you lock the doomed unit, did you also locked the doom status or not? Will it banish after the round ends or it will stay on the graveyard?
Lock only works for abilities of cards, purify works for statuses, so if you lock a doomed or defender, it won't do anything, only adds another status
Doom stays, even with lock.

What an annoying deck. Fun to play, but the opponent won't be playing any more Gwent for the day.
What do you think about the Vampires this season? The ones without megascopes, operators, sabbath etc etc, just the normal vampire stuff
