Because there are plenty of other TH-cam based music artists with loads of talent, but all of them are obscure and unpopular because of the quantity. This being a TikTok based one and sounding sub-par or slightly under moderate is actually plenty times better than the vast majority of other TikTok based music. Therefore, it's a breakthrough in "TikTok music art", but DEFINITELY not when compared to other places. So yes, it does matter, almost entirely, on the platform base.
