    Dude way to hang in. The opponent was struggling on his micro once his army got too big for himself. He looked to be around pop cap.

      Yeah the skill difference was more apparent when the army sizes were large.

    Hello Tightrope !!
    True !!! Momentum of your game are at 24:00 ! Your opponent have totally forgotten to protect their AT Gun with an MG, or 2 infantries.
    Then, the very aggressive tactic of your opponent (fix and turn around with short range units, and mines gained sectors) cost many man power income.
    The value of unit infantry is bad for WM. Then, i must keep far away, or kill, add DPS of your army to prevent the bad balance infantry combat. (2 Canon + Panther vs your alone tank ; artillery to counter mortar).
    With lost ATGun, he must rebuild 520 manpower (with an income with probably just 200 with his army => 2min30), and he cannot take a good controls aeras with more MG, bunker MG to control your movement, make losen time to arrive on stars.
    This is the life of WM player. A little mistake on managment of combo, or tactic choices ... and the game is over !

      His OP bodied Tightrope around 12 minute mark and continue to hold the upper hand all the way until 24 minute mark. And here's the hot take: If you can't make use of a 10-minute dominance to win, that's on you not the faction. Also his OP took bad engagements after bad engagements (especially after Matilda 2, poor infantry got shot at least 100 times by it with no reason) and the Panther drive-through is just puzzling--he could have lost it right there if Tightrope's Matilda wasn't stuck and infantry is in place to snare it.

      @@ArmoredNeko Agree about bad choices of AAA, on the late game.
      But i m not agree about early game of WM army.
      WM Engineer loose vs every allied unit (low cost, but 4 points army value and too poor life).
      Alone WM Grenadier loose vs every alone allied infantry unit ... but he cost same point army value, same manpower (or very close), except the US Scout. Then, you need combined forces, and some lucky on covers on meeting engagment, or wait ennemy to trap on goods aeras. But combined gameplay very early have consequences ... You give up map control, resources, and tickets to stay strong ...
      At 8 mins, your Grenadier begin to be very weak vs allied infantry up grade. And, up grade a grenadier (Jaeger or PzGrenadier) cost his experience, and 160 Manpower by unit ... But at this time, you NEED to retake map control to stay in the game, and a good number of infantry units to do that.
      And it is not finish ... If you are better than your opponent and you arrive on middle game vs equal, or advantage resources, you cannot finish the game with "all-in" tactics vehicules, because that cost too many fuel than same opponent allied tactics ... And your vehicule lifes and armors are very weak too.

      When you play in WM on CoH3, you do not win !!! It is your opponent we loose, with his mistakes (skills, tactics, bad concentration on late game).
      I think you have better chance, in WM, with Luffwafe. The Falmschimpioneer do not need to be build and travel to be on the front, have enough power to be considerate like a grenadier, and he can put mines !!! It is a very better choice to stay on the field with enough strong and power on early, delay allied up technologies, and stay adaptative with LG40 (very poor cost manpower with an halftrack, but need ammos).

    is there a reason to build a panther in a 1v1? tightrope was struggling enough with no snares and just 1 anti-tank gun so just spam p4s. Panther has 0 anti-inf cpabilities and can't hold the VPs. Also, a wespe to counter a single basic mortar? I think wehr player had great early game but got cocky and overconfident which cost him the victory. Nice comeback tightrope!

      I had a mg, mortar and at gun at one stage. The wespe was OK but it felt like he wasn't using it frequently enough.

    Nıce game and play with both sides apart from that, its obvious that axis inf really struggles all stages of the game againts allied counterparts esp late...Even if Wehr player has more units mostly need more micro depended due to "specialist" roles of theirs (not really specialist) makes them hard to control simultaniously all of them and they mostly not really win the fights if allied player reasonably good micro his/hers good line control/ all range inf.

      Ehh I think the Wehr player just made the wrong call going Pgrens instead of Jaegers on this map. Head to head, Aussie lights don't fair well against the Wehr tier 2 infantry when they are in their optimal ranges.
      Like TR said, his Matilda had some fortunate early wipes that really helped swing the game in his favor, and I don't think the Wehr player really had a good plan once his Panther got zoned out by the Archer.
