Great vid! Absolutely enjoyed what you shared. Looking forward to hearing more about the Chelan. One I have considered for some time now. I have a Sea Eagle and wonder what I may do for another inflatable.
Not far from me, used to walk round it every Boxing Day. Def going to have to try this but I’m probably going to chicken out and wait til it’s a bit warmer
Hi Karl We have a rigid tandem and love the big waters can you let us know what the launch site is like is it slipway type or a pontoon type thanks for the video
Im a big fan of ladybower iv been hiking around it for years and always wanted to get out for a paddleon it .Well nows the chance ill do some homework on it concerning a launch but i suppose its from the fishing office .If youve got any details it would be great .I suppose ill do it as soon as possible as its bound to get busy when the weather gets warmer .Beauty of not working now is i can go in the week .Once ive oiled my zip on my new suit and the sun appears I'll be up there. Lookes fantastic 😂

How does this boat compare to the Sandbanks Explorer? These two are on my shortlist but also a bit different. Had all but made my mind up in favour of the Sandbanks Explorer when a dealer I was chatting to about a paddle threw this into the mix. Would love to know some specs too as the websites don’t tell you the inflation PSI. How fast is it? A comparison between the two would be fab. Please!
@@srappywoo the Explorer is full drop stitch whereas the Chelan only partial. The Chelan is the more stable of the 2 crafts. The Explorer is a one piece craft whereas the Chelan is 2 piece. The Chelan has loads of lashing points in the craft whereas the Explorer has less. And at a guess I'd say the Explorer might be a bit faster.
@@MoreThanJustaCleaner Wow what a speedy reply, thank you! We are looking for something that would be a really nice paddle for two of us with a smallish dog. I don’t feel super worried about falling over but of course it is a factor. I prefer to choose when to go swimming if you know what I mean. So I am wondering, if you could only have one and you were going to do mainly lakes, rivers and the odd bit of calm ocean paddling, what would you recommend? We are relatively new at the hobby. Our old Sevylor Hudson feels like you don’t move forward at all for the effort per stroke and I hated it. Also practiced in a rigid canoe which we are getting the hang of paddling tandem. Also, how do the seats compare in the two boats? I like having my upper back supported well and it is hard to tell the difference between the two boats from that perspective. Thanks for your greats vids!
Watched this and decided id love to try it so ive bought an Aqua Spirit 410 2person do you know what their like it stood out compared to the previous stuff i was looking at buying
In this video th-cam.com/video/9yyrj1j6T-Q/w-d-xo.html Emma has one, I'm not sure if it's the 1 or 2 person. For the money they look really good value 👍😁
Good to see these facilities opening, might nip down there myself sometime. 👍
You'll love it 😁👍
What a stunning place!
Absolutely 👍😁
That was a lovely place Karl. Being a keen angler myself I will keep this one on my to fish list.

I was looking for a decent paddle to replace the one that came with my ironing board, but ouch… that’s a bit spendy 😮

Apparently, it's taken 30 years to get permission for paddlers to use Ladybower. Hopefully, they will reinvest the profits into the site.
And equally hopefully, paddlers won't abuse it 👍😁
Bit naff when someone keeps telling you off lol.
