i think Gilligans' is a really cool table layout that ought to have a better game built around it. that turntable ramp looks cool at first glance, but i don't really like it in practice... mainly because most of its positions will send the ball down the right ramp return, either directly or via Kona's kickout. only one of the turntable routes uses the left ramp return. that's not to mention that the ramp usually stays raised, and players can only Send The Ball Through The Cool Thing during time-limited modes, which may not even get activated at all in a short game. on the other hand, I actually like the unusually-short orbit shot, as well as that six-way intersection above the LAGOON bank that the orbit is part of! it's fun to see balls take unexpected paths after bouncing off the posts around there.
