I love how back at the start of S1 Loki and Mobius hated each other, and now at the start of S2 Mobius is willing to risk his own life to save Loki's. One of the best duos in the MCU fr
If there is something I can truly appreciate about this show it's the fact that out of any of the MCU shows we have gotten so far, this one is the one with arguably the best dialogue and conversation and then also the musical score. I love how there's been more than two years between the season 1 finale and this episode and yet we were so easily able to reconnect to this whole world of loki and to the characters!

So it could be possible 3 people helped prune Loki 1. The Person ringing the phone to get Loki’s Attention 2. Sylvie keeping Loki’s attention 3. The Person who actually did the pruning. Do Love that we get a mystery of the bat but that works too
the way they demonstrated timeline understanding is insane, like, the fact that he couldn't find a pruning time-stick because the all-out Sylvie assault took all of them from the TVA, is such clever writing, and you only find that out after he makes it back and you watch the minute men armed to the teeth go through the time door, thats why he couldn't find one, and thats why Sylvie had one, cuz she must have fought off the minute men to take one and prune him when she sees him. ONLY in a time based series could they somehow put the foreshadowing, AFTER the event it's foreshadowing. insane.
That is kind of cool to think about, but what about the prune stick that loki dropped in the chamber when he time slipped to the future? I thought watching, it would still have been there on the floor somewhere in the future. Im sure they had backup pruners at the TVA even after all the soldiers went off to find sylvie. But if so, good catch, good thoughts.
I was rewatching season 1, and literally watched the season finale directly before going straight into this episode, and the continuity was perfect. It just felt so natural as a next episode, that it made me really glad I watched the season 1 finale right before it.
Because it will make every superhero films in MCU mundane…every show or film has a specific way of filming it so each is different from the others. you’d be done of Marvel long before Infinity War if Marvel gave us the same visuals for each projects
@cosmicentertainment9993 he didn't say the same style and flair but the amount this series gets you can still make something stylish and have it be different than the other projects
This was one of the best directed hours of the entire MCU, up there with Winter Soldier, "Self-Control" from the fourth season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the best episodes of Daredevil. The move from season 1's calmer and more claustrophobic direction to this season's more dynamic movement with handheld shots completely matched the vibe of the more frantic pace.
Phenomenal season 2 opener, the absolute best season opener I’ve ever experienced. The cast did so well! O.B. Must be protected at all costs! Ke Huy Quan is awesome and wow just wow! The plot thickens as we head towards the wars to end all wars, the Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars. I believe Loki will make the MCU brilliant again. The visuals and music were God Like!
This really should've been Kang's 2nd introduction, I 1000% agree. Personally Ant-Man 3 had me happy till the end w/Kang & his situation. This feels ominous, Loki is terrified & I felt it. The audio of him talking to Renslayer sounds manipulative. This is what I wanted. I want to be afraid of Kang & any variants that may show up.
A good idea would’ve been to use variants to slowly build up to Kang properly. Like have He Who Remains in Loki Season 1, Crimson Centurion in Quantumania, Timely in Loki Season 2, Rama-Tut in Fantastic Four or Moon Knight Season 2 and overtime slowly build up how there’s this super dangerous variant out there that all of them fear, only seen in statues, holograms and drawings and lead it up to Kang finally showing up and being a beast Hell am interesting idea for Quantumania could’ve been to have the Kang variant be a fallen Iron Lad. Like he was a variant who was trapped in The Quantum Realm because he was on the road to becoming He Who Remains and all that time down there drove him insane and made him become a villain who wishes to erase all his variants whilst also having an unhealthy obsession with Cassie due to knowing her from his Young Avenger days
The filming of this episode was incredible. The ominous and earring tone gave the show an element of suspense. The practical sets this episode made the show 10x more enjoyable
Great first episode. Totally digging the chemistry between Loki, Mobius, and OB. I think the light blinking was Sylvie and she led Loki to the phone and someone was with her and that person prunes him, which is actually what he needed to have happen to get pulled out the time line. Can't wait for ep2!
This episode was more darker and intense than I thought. Curious to see how this season will go and hopefully stick the landing. So far, it’s way better than She-Hulk and Secret Invasion.
Can’t compare she hulk. It’s legit a sit com comedy lol. It’s great for what it was supposed to be. And as of rn it’s just as good as secret invasion, both started off amazing. Just pray it dosent pull a SI and go down

She-Hulk isn’t the same kind of show, so it’s hard to compare to Loki. Secret Invasion is a little easier to compare to Loki, but it’s still different. Neither show pulled me in as much as this one has though
Isaac Bauman definetly deserves recigniton dor this episode, because the cinematography was beatiful. The thing about the Ouroboros scenes, is that they resemble a Wes Anderson movie - and I mean that in the best possible way. The scenography, the dialogue, the editing... Of course, that's enhanced by the presence of Owen Wilson as well.

17:45 - I LOVE this scene and this recurring joke. The look on Mobius' face and him drawing the word "SKIN?" is just pure gold 🤣 Your reaction says it all.
Such a great first episode for Season 2. As you guys mentioned in the video, the cinematography was fantastic and the chemistry between Loki and Mobius is just brilliant. Loving O.B already, especially since I loved him as Short Round in Indiana Jones and Data in The Goonies. I honestly believe that O.B is the only member of TVA who hasn't had his memory wiped, because as he mentioned when Loki and Mobius met with him, his last visit was from Mobius, 400 years ago. And when Mobius was mistaking how he first met O.B, O.B was quick to correct him, as well as adding that there is no one else working with him in the repairs department, just him, which really reveals the sad reality that no one has ever really paid O.B much mind and that he is essentially forgotten about. He has no direct interactions with his fellow TVA agents, they send their damaged items to him, he repairs them, then sends it right back to their respective owners. But despite all that, it may be quite an interesting development for his character over the course of the remaining episodes, as he may be privy to more details about the TVA and its origins than he may be currently letting on. Either way, super excited to see where this all leads.
Man that scene with mobius having to get in the suit was amazing, I honestly for a quick min had a feeling like someone was gonna die for sure. The episode itself had so many emotions back to back and it definitely left me wanting more. 😪 oh and i love obi already i feel like they grabbed data up and put him to work in the tva

Its this and Wandavision both some of the best TV youll ever see juxtaposed with some of THE ABSOLUTE WORST TV youll ever see with all the rest, especially She-Hulk, which could be the worst thing ever
Artistically this is legendary. It is to other series what graphic novels are to comic books from the 1960’s. I love it, if it doesn’t break my mind, it’s stunning to see them communicating through time, it’s like getting high.
The first season of loki got me beyond excited for kang and the threat he imposed. The possibilities felt endless. The stakess felt real and scary. I expected insane shakeups and surprises from everything after it. This episode brought back all those feelings and I'm so pumped to see where it takes us. I'm willing to give marvel a mulligan for a lot of phase 4. Please use this is your real shot to make kang an amazing villain again!
This episode was absolutely incredible! Loki was already my favorite of all the Marvel shows by a good bit. This episode knocked it out of the park and might be the best episode of the show so far. I cannot wait to see what happens next 💚
You guys are awesome! Love the reactions! Especially the Reel Steel reaction! You guys have a GLORIOUS PURPOSE... to give us the best reactions on TH-cam!!! Keep it up!
This season opening was amazing, but they did something that absolutely grinds my gears in every piece of media; the character walking slow or just standing still when there's a clear timer ticking.
I just finished watching season 2 premiere a few minutes ago and it's Everything Everywhere All at Once. Also the tease of Ramona Renslayer becoming the love interest to Kang The Conqueror in the comics is nicely being teased especially with that nice recording that he heard in the future between the two of them.
Yes, that art of the Kangs fighting was always there. Someone who worked on the show released a bts of the sets a week or so after S1 ended and the painting is there. Also remember in the first season there was that bit of where Mobius apparently kept leaving ring stains from his drink on Ravona's table and didn't remember ever doing that? Now we know apparently why
Honestly, this just confirms in my mind that Kang was an afterthought in Quantumania because people were complaining about how the MCU isn't leading to anything. If they led with this, I feel like people would take Kang way more seriously.
I wonder if we see the Living Tribunal ACTUALLY have dialogue in the season finale. The reason for this might be because of the big mess this has been making on the multiverse. And since the multiverse will be at stake, the Tribunal will get involved. Perhaps the end of Kang will be at the "hand" of the Tribunal himself. Just a theory! Enjoy the mystery! Can't wait to see the whole show! Only if we all could just jump to Secret Wars!!! Am I right, or am I right? =)
Calling it now, the future Loki slipped to was in, was the season Finale and he is eventually going to end up in the crumbling TVA with Silvie and get separated that’s why she said “There you are” and FUTURE Loki is the one who pruned himself
There was an ominous, menacing, almost eerie vibe about this episode, but wow haha beautifully shot and edited, wonderfully scored by Natalie Holt. Maybe it’s the presence of Kang that filled the air of the TVA HQ with dread. I still don’t know exactly what Kang wants to do to alternative timelines of existence. In the Infinity Saga we collectively knew what Thanos wanted to do as a villain.
Im finally binge'ing this, and gd this was such a good premiere. Sylvie's soft "I want to try everything" gave me tears. Thats what life is all about, baby 😢
I love that when Mobius wrote "Skin?" On the computer it was played up for laughs at the moment, but then it was used as a device to set up the impactful finale.
This was just an amazing 1st episode! Really really love the concept of timeslipping and remembering as memories happen, and a lot of the cinematography and handheld camerawork reminded me of Yorgos Lamphimos especially with The Favourite
Awesome Video!!! I LOVED THIS EPISODE SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!! I Love how it picked up right after Season 1! All of The Characters Were Great! The dynamic between Loki and Mobius was Perfect once again, And Ke Huy Quan as O.B. was so fantastic in This Episode! He's such a great Character! Also it was really cool that there was a Post Credits Scene! The Perfect way to start off The Season! This is what Marvel needs! 9.5/10! For All Time Always!!!!!!
Watching Loki S2, reminded why i love Marvel in the first place, i got the good old Marvel Magical feel again, this is really Emotional 🥺 Marvel is Back👌🏼💥🔥
In S1 when Mobius talks to Renslayer he brings up a second analyst similar to himself, with a cup stain on her table, I wonder if that is him he just doesn’t remember.
I am pretty sure we could all agree that this should've came first before quantum mania lmao. he was great in quantum mania but here, even if he wasn't in the episode, made him more of a serious threat
I fully agree with Johns statement at the start as another person who likes phase 4 sure it’s not the best but I wouldn’t say it’s bad. But I’m saying that I laughed more and smiled more at this than I have with Marvel for a hot minute the excitement and hype I got from this was like Star Wars levels
@@fawnebrown4619 I never understood that! That's why I'd never go to a screening If I was invited to one I'd rather get a steady flow of content rather than waiting 4 weeks
Would much rather have week to week episodes, especially for shows with smaller episodes counts. Stretch it out to let them build suspense, tension and anticipation. Plus give plenty of time to discuss and speculate with everyone in between each chapter.
And I've come full circle. The day I started watching reaction videos was with your reactions to Loki Season 1, since then I've joined this world of Reactors... So yea, you guys in specific reacting to the second season of what is still my favorite Marvel show, is definitely something beyond special.
It all started very tense and I had my hand on my heart so as not to see how Mobius would die. But Loki arrived on time and now it's time for the adventure to begin!!!. 🙏🙏💚💚💚💚
This was such a good first episode! I'm super happy and excited to be back in the world of the TVA with all the awesome characters. I got goosebumps multiple times in this episode. I loved how chaotic and frightening the tone was. This still made me feel the excitement for what's coming. Tom Hiddleston's performance was fantastic in this episode! B-15 is soooo much more likeable now, the actress did great. I love all the talk about the TVAs future, what the morally right or wrong thing is to do moving forward is. Obi is gonna be such a great addition to the show. Such a likeable character and fantastic actor
I'm loving this. The vibes I'm getting from this show and especially this new season is Sapphire & Steel. It looks nothing like it visually but it has similar themes and the aesthetic feels like 1970s, almost British TV. I'm also getting a feel of Fifth Element in some of it. The environment suit just feels like it would be in that movie. Love the reaction.
The chemistry between HIddleston, Wilson and Quan was off the chart. The acting of LIz Carr and Kate Dickie was also exceptional. A very solid episode.
Loki did more to make Kang terrifying then all of Quantumania that is SO embarrassing for Marvel. I hope Tom has a good chiropractor he's gonna need it for carrying Post Endgame Marvel on his back.
THIS WAS SO GOOD ?!?! If this keeps going like that we might have one of the best CB TV show of all time. Camera work, set design, acting, tension, WOW ! Marvel ain't going anywhere !
Loved the episode and this reaction, there was a sense of urgency in this episode which was portrayed through Loki's fear of the future, the direction, the screenplay, and hand-held camera shots. The episode finishes in a flash, making us anxious and excited about the future!

Artistically this is legendary. It is to other series what graphic novels are to comic books from the 1960’s. I love it, if it doesn’t break my mind, it’s stunning to see them communicating through time, it’s like getting high.
Great start for Loki. I can't wait what will happen next couple of episodes.
I couldn’t stop smiling the entire episode because it is so freaking good!!!!
Coy:"It's Trinity, answer it!" LOL!!! THANKS, RRs!!!! Excited to hear your views!!!!
Buckle up rejects! Can’t wait to go on this Loki journey with y’all, this is gunna be a blast much love ❤️
This has been a long wait! And totally worth it! Never more fun than watching these with you guys!
“I have no memory of having my memory wiped” needs to be a T-shirt
This was my favourite episode of Loki so far. It was so well shot and the writing was fantastic. It was gripping. 😁
Eric Martin is the new head writer, and he’s the only writer who’s a carryover from Season 1 (he did episode 4 and co-wrote the finale)
Calling it now, the future Loki slipped to was in, was the season Finale and he is eventually going to end up in the crumbling TVA with Silvie and get separated that’s why she said “There you are” and FUTURE Loki is the one who pruned himself
oooo, I think you're right.😎👍
There was an ominous, menacing, almost eerie vibe about this episode, but wow haha beautifully shot and edited, wonderfully scored by Natalie Holt.
I love that when Mobius wrote "Skin?" On the computer it was played up for laughs at the moment, but then it was used as a device to set up the impactful finale.
one of the most beautifully shot/beautiful looking MCU productions I have seen.
This was just an amazing 1st episode! Really really love the concept of timeslipping and remembering as memories happen, and a lot of the cinematography and handheld camerawork reminded me of Yorgos Lamphimos especially with The Favourite
as tense and darker as it seemed, this episode was hilarious. excellent balance
Loki is just making me more hype for Kang Dynasty.
For me it’s Deadpool 3 for some reason
Awesome Video!!! I LOVED THIS EPISODE SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!
I Love how it picked up right after Season 1! All of The Characters Were Great!
The dynamic between Loki and Mobius was Perfect once again, And Ke Huy Quan as O.B. was so fantastic in This Episode! He's such a great Character!
Also it was really cool that there was a Post Credits Scene!
The Perfect way to start off The Season! This is what Marvel needs! 9.5/10!
For All Time Always!!!!!!
Watching Loki S2, reminded why i love Marvel in the first place, i got the good old Marvel Magical feel again, this is really Emotional 🥺
Marvel is Back👌🏼💥🔥
In S1 when Mobius talks to Renslayer he brings up a second analyst similar to himself, with a cup stain on her table, I wonder if that is him he just doesn’t remember.
So glad this show is back. the editing, music, acting all phenomenal
16:55 Anyone else notice the X-Men vibe and X on the door?
Also this episode was awesome!
john said cerebro 😉
Definitely noticed that too
One of the best things Marvel have done. PEriod. Not just recently, but ever. This is the MARVEL I want to watch .
Darn it if this series continues to be this good will will demand a season 3.
I am pretty sure we could all agree that this should've came first before quantum mania lmao. he was great in quantum mania but here, even if he wasn't in the episode, made him more of a serious threat
My favorite dynamic duo loki and mobius is back
I think Mobius may be my fave new character introduced since Endgame
1 episode and this season has a far greater sense of dread than Secret Invasion, which it's whole thing was supposed to be dread.
I missed these guys so much I LOVED this episode and now I'm angry I have to wait a week for another episode!!!
I feel your pain 😅
Just think about the screeners who got 1- 4 and now have to wait another four weeks to get E5.
So yea, you guys in specific reacting to the second season of what is still my favorite Marvel show, is definitely something beyond special.
happy to have you here!!!
I really like how Ouroboros gets muffled when Mobius is in the suit. It's a small touch but a lot of film in general neglects it
It all started very tense and I had my hand on my heart so as not to see how Mobius would die. But Loki arrived on time and now it's time for the adventure to begin!!!. 🙏🙏💚💚💚💚
Loki has been my favorite Disney + show out of Marvel and Star Wars. So hyped to have it back
This was such a good first episode!
Damn you guys are fast the episode only released 50 minutes ago
Ke Huy Quan is fantastic
I'm loving this. The vibes I'm getting from this show and especially this new season is Sapphire & Steel. It looks nothing like it visually but it has similar themes and the aesthetic feels like 1970s, almost British TV. I'm also getting a feel of Fifth Element in some of it. The environment suit just feels like it would be in that movie.
Love the reaction.
I love how nonsensically wild this show can be. Weaving raw Time into physical time, WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN!?
The chemistry between HIddleston, Wilson and Quan was off the chart. The acting of LIz Carr and Kate Dickie was also exceptional. A very solid episode.
I can already tell Ke Huy Quan's O.B. is about to become a new fan favorite for this season ;)
I gotta say the quality of you guys is like beyond HD. Kudos fellas
19:23 I could imagine Lightning McQueen saying this XD
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
18:53 I’d say it’s actually more of a Wes Anderson style than Nolan the way this episode was shot
Loki did more to make Kang terrifying then all of Quantumania that is SO embarrassing for Marvel.
I hope Tom has a good chiropractor he's gonna need it for carrying Post Endgame Marvel on his back.
2001 with Greg and coy sounds like a trip I want to take. Please and thank you
THIS WAS SO GOOD ?!?!
Best MCU show by far... what an incredible season premiere
Ke Huy Quan should be in everything from now on. Great episode, and he's the highlight of it still.
Hes an American icon!
Loki will bring back hope for all marvel fans most anticipated show of the year. 😎
Just checked out the full length for the first time ever, it was so much fun, and I might have to sub to the patreon for the rest of the show...
