This is such an odd one. Original and bizarre perfumery that was common in the early 2000s. Medicinal, fresh, warm at the same time. I get flashbacks of Le Male, Bois d'argent, Bvlgari Black etc. I still don't know if I love it or I hate it.
I have come to the conclusion that I really like it. It's all those things you said but I don't have anything else like it. A Fantastic male fragrance, easily wearable by ladies, that showed the way male perfume was going to be heading over the next decade. Genius really
Menardo is a genius. Some of my faves of hers are Bulgari Black, Armani Attitude, Hypnotic Poison and Amouage Overture Woman
She is absolutely a genius. This perfume kinda set us up for the 2000s metrosexual perfumes
This is a brilliant balance between hot and cold, with those syrupy resins and eucalyptus

Cheers Rich , picked up a first edition 50ml bottle a few months ago ,really like it ,as I do for the few fragrances that she created that’s on my collection, I do enjoy the Boss Bottled Elixirs she co perfumed this year but falling short to her past bangers ✌️🙏👍
Hard to keep reaching the heights she did, incredibly high standards
Always masterfully done duck. I thought this stuff was gewd I just never crave it like I crave duck content. 🍻🫂

I remember asking if you liked BK on a stream, you said it's been a long time and that you'll maybe sell it but give it a wear before, and since then it's come back into your rotation, glad ! Do you prefer Bois d'argent to BK ? I assume so, but still curious.
Yes I prefer BDO over BK still
I surprisingly found the original presentation of this in the US. I then sold the newer one for the same reason. Also, vintage Opium or no Opium.
I think Anooj still has some in stock, I'm now considering a back up 🤦🏻♂️😂

I've said it many a time. Masterful use of benzoin in this one. Really hope that Menardo is as sweet as her perfumes. 😊 She looks so much like my cousin it's frightening. 😂 In a good way.

Bloody Body Kouros 😂 I have been in the fragrance for many years now been collecting for a long time still haven’t tried the original kouros and by the reviews I don’t think I’d like it. But great review here.

i have this but not the vintage bottle, its lovely i agree with you, still cant beat the original kouros not that this is the same, do you have kouros silver too rich?
I don't have kouros silver, this and the original are the only ones I have!

@@RichMitch hah good to know! I saw one for sale at a local shop the other month and didn’t know if I should grab it. Ended up with Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin which I absolutely love.

Absolutely, I can imagine this being pleasing to the average person in the street but it also has the quality and creativity to satisfy us collectors too. a rare beauty
