Wow, I came in expecting cool thrilling adventure and got this surprisingly sad look at how lonely it must be to have to lie to your partner, possibly for your entire time together. Don't get me wrong though--I did like it, and it's nice to have serious audios too.
It's true! When Angel wrote this script for me I was first expecting exactly what you said but I really enjoyed the deeper look behind the curtain! They did a fantastic job with the script.
Welp this is definitely going in my “stuff to listen to while playing Minecraft” playlist because my 2 week Minecraft streak is on its way, server planned and free schedules all around. Very fairy dad approved (been awhile since I’ve been able to say that 🤣) great job as always Pingly!
_’All the moving around, the random calls into work at odd hours, the little things it felt like he wouldn’t tell me…’_ she couldn’t quite wrap her head around it even while he was speaking. The one thing she *_could_* ascertain however, was that he truly did want her to understand, that he wanted her to be safe, and that he didn’t WANT to keep secrets, but he had to to _keep_ her safe. All those pieces she couldn’t puzzle together for the longest time it… now it all… clicked. Even as he left she pondered all he’d told her. Thought about his consideration for her, letting her know he had to go so she wouldn’t wonder where he’d gone in the morning… not telling her details because he didn’t want to put her in danger… She sat there, looking at the door he’d exited through, hands in her lap as she thought. She sent up a small prayer, just in case, for him… oh how she hoped he wouldn’t get hurt… never happened yet or not… she knew the possibility was still there. She briefly touched her lips where he’d left that chaste kiss, clinging to the words of love and devotion he’d uttered before he’d slipped away. Oh how she hoped he’d be alright… As the shock wore off that her husband was a… a spy… a real spy… she set her jaw and sat up a little straighter. Determining to help him as best she could, she nodded to herself and glanced at the clock and winced, sending up another small prayer for him. The late night before and the early morning now? He needed all the help he could get… _’maybe I can be one of those he mentioned that helps the organization!’_ she thought. She wanted to be there for him no matter what. “Please be safe…” she whispered into the dark. This was so cute and sad at the same time!! The earnest sincerity from the speaker, the desperate confusion from the listener- SO good!! Just enough information to get the edge pieces of the puzzle put together, the mysterious was of the cover of night, loved this Pingly!! Jus wanna gib the poor guy a hug TTwTT
Maybe its because I'm a skeptic maybe its because I'm a cynic, maybe its because I'm just naturally suspicious of everybody but I will not be home when he returns. I would need a car chase or someone trying to kill him in front of me to believe that. 🤣. Sorry. (Love the audio btw).
