Its the same here in Northern Ireland. Many churches are dumping hymns, replacing them with garbage in a vain attempt to attract young people. Yet the young people don't really see the appeal, as it's not as good as their own pop music. I am so thankful to have an exclusive hymn singing church locally.

I just played a duet with you on Beyond the Sunset, on my Kurzweil keyboard/piano. I had it set on Electric piano #2 and soft strings, it sounded really beautiful, only you play it a litte faster than I do, but I made it work. Just took my laptop next to my piano and turned you on. Played it 4 or 5 times to get us together and with a little more practice I may get it perfect with you. I may try it set on organ also. FUN!
Thank you so much. You played two of my favorites back to back. I love the song Camping in Canaan's Land. I have it on CD by The Singing Americans from Maiden, NC. The song Beyond The Sunset brings back childhood memories. My dad ordered a record from Rex Humbard and the Cathedral of Tomorrow which the southern gospel group The Cathedrals originated from. They sang the first verse of Beyond the Sunset and then Rex Humbard recited a poem that started off "should you go first and I remain, to walk the path along". After the poem, the group sang the chorus to Beyond the Sunset again. I use to know the whole poem when I was a child but I have forgotten the words over the many, many years. Thanks again, I love to hear you play the piano.
