I like the idea of Edward being restored to his original Furness Railway livery now he's retired & living at the Clay Pits Museum with Bill & Ben. I like the idea of Furness Railway No. 20 visiting Edward at the Clay Pits Museum; I could imagine old No. 20 being young Edward's mentor:-)
I think "Heroes" would take place after the events of "Thomas & The Fat Controller's Engines" (1995) as this is the last time we see the China Clay wagons. I like the idea of Furness Railway No.20 visiting Edward at the Clay Pits Museum; I could imagine old No. 20 being a young Edward's mentor in his Furness Railway days:-)
In my headcanon BoCo's brother CoBo joins the NWR after a meeting between BoCo and the Norramby diesels (Derby & Matlock) who met CoBo during their trial service on the Matlock line on the mainland. BoCo is surprised that Derby & Matlock recognise him as a Metropolitan Vickers Co-Bo!
Duck wouldn't have met a Hymek (Bear's class) or Warship class (Glory's class) diesel before coming to Sodor as they were introduced after his arrival on Sodor. Oliver may have met them as he was still in BR service in the 1960s though.

Not really sure what 1851 built Large Bloomer member Bloomer could be; none of them were named simply “Bloomer” or even named until 1872 where it’s also said he worked on the P&WJR where it fully came out to be by 1885 but none of the 1851 built Large Bloomers made it to 1885 where they were all withdrawn from June 1876-October 1883. So we could imagine Bloomer was a prototype where no name was to be set up but it was then decided he’d be referred to as Bloomer being the prototype and made it to 1885 where he operated on the P&WJR until say at the latest 1888 or even up to at least 1890/1891 and being left in a shed. Perhaps when being found and restored in the mid 1970s Sir Charles II who had seen illustrations of the Bloomers in their fictional vermillion red assumed it was a real livery and so had Bloomer painted so but even after finding out it wasn’t both still thought it was fine and so it was kept on Bloomer.
To be honest, some engines on Sodor have a slightly different work life to what they would have had on the mainland (Duck, Oliver, BoCo, perhaps Toby) so Bloomer could be one do these. I'll look into them at some point!

@@sodorislandmodels6332 Clarence was the original name for Arthur who has the same basis as Barry, that's what I said. I think you must have misread my other comment.
If the railway series still continued, these are definitely the illustrations we need

Your voice is kinda soothing and these edits are wonderful
Oh thanks!
I can already imagine what Edward's relationship with Old Coppernob would've been like, back in the day.
😁
Interesting that Edward use to be painted red, of course it’s your head canon.
He was red on the furness

Love all the different accents these characters have : Scottish (Bloomer), Midlands (Bill and Ben), Southwest England (Duck, Oliver, Toad). Etc.

But Barry is a tender engine not a tank engine ?🇬🇧
