    Thank you for showing the step where you added the extra water at the end. I've seen this around the web but no one showed the step to add the water at the end & I couldn't understand why or how they could go from looking like clear pearls to looking like water. You made it make sense. Thank you!

    👁❤️it! I was wondering how this was done! I wonder if the glass gems are too heavy to use instead?

    How do you store beads that have been in water if you want to keep them for a longer period of time? Can they be left to dry without any damage or do they need to be in water in the future?

    Once I put the water in the vase, do the gels IMMEDIATELY turn to the transparent gel as you show or was there a time lapse?

  • @deeshair
    @deeshair 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    If I use acrylic water, would it produce the same affect as regular water with the clear gels? I want it to look like the flowers that are set in 'fake water' for centerpieces.

    Once you poor water in the vase, will the water beads grow again and overfill the vase? If so how long does that take to happen?

    Elegant project! are water pearls/gems the same? I saw at the dollar store floral beads, are floral beads the same? thank you!🌹🌸🌼

    • @AngelsInTheGarden
      @AngelsInTheGarden  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi M Bee Water pearls/gems are the same. The water beads are what becomes invisible in water to make the pearls/gems look like they are floating. I am unsure as to the floral beads product you are referring to. Sorry I couldn't help there. Lori

    About how much of the clear beads did you use for this vase? Because I want to create center pieces close to rthat size and I am not sure of how much to buy. The packets I see online say each packet is about 8 measuring cups

    • @AngelsInTheGarden
      @AngelsInTheGarden  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Megan, Sorry for the delay getting back to you... YES, you can re-use the water beads.... you will need to store them in a food storage baggie covered in water. I go into more detail with a newer video I did. It is a two-part video so be sure to watch both videos. First video link: : th-cam.com/video/5HzDONY8BPQ/w-d-xo.html, then watch video 2 here: th-cam.com/video/SEebOLTZkSc/w-d-xo.html Thank you for your question! Lori

      Hi Vane, it lasts for some time. I would say if you are going to keep it out for long-term, you will want to change the water at least once a month..... Take the pearls an the water gels out rinse them off, clean your vase then put them back in. Thanks for the question!

  • @SteelTiger76

    How long does it take for the water pearls to soak up the water you added and swell up or over fill the vase?

    Thanks for sharing! How long does this last once you put the water in?

    • @AngelsInTheGarden
      @AngelsInTheGarden  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, The water will eventually evaporate if you leave open - I recommend a close cover like on a mason jar.... It will last for some time but if you want to keep for a LONG period of time you will need to replenish the water.

      How big do you want your vase Michelle and it will depend on how much bead you want versus how much 'empty' space.

    • @AngelsInTheGarden
      @AngelsInTheGarden  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Gennifur, I have never used 'regular pearls' from Michael craft. I LOVE the pearls I use so much from Maya at vasepearfection that I never used anything else. I would suggest trying if they are not too expensive just to see. Thanks for the question! Here is Maya's link again if you want it www.vasepearlfection.com
