I remember the first time something like this happened to me. I was solo hunting Chameleos for his gem in the Shrine Ruins when an ambush notification popped up in the middle of my second round. I was slightly confused, as any other time I'd seen that, I was hunting Valstrax. So I did the natural thing: I sheathed my Dual Blades and started rolling and Superman diving like crazy, fearing the Crimson Comet would be aiming right for me...only for a ominous black blur and that familiar red explosion to miss me completely and hit Chameleos right in the side instead. Let's just say I understood in that moment why Crimson Glow Valstrax is the new Party Crasher...

@@Zerethos it's because valstrax don't have the red eye icon on you. i have a direct hit from behind by valstrax but no damage taken.
Soon as he saw "Crimson Glow Valstrax: Ambush," the Rakna may as well have been invisible lmao
