‼️ help! Hey guys!! firstly, Thank your so much for being here 🥺❤️ … BUT we’re STILL undecided on the panelling colour!!! So pleaseeee help us decide lol and vote 1 for the darker colour and 2 for the lighter colour…?? 😩😩 OR do you have other opinions?? Should we be going less contrasting colour and more off white tone like slaked lime mid? Whatcha thinkkkk? 😂🤩❤️

I have Lick beige 04 and I have no regrets and my house has the same sort of interior as you with the natural, black, white, beige scandi/boho vibes. Have a look at some of their colours - I think that brand will be your taste! ☺️🥰

Hey guys! The pale oak (2) wouldnt make the room feel too cold as you have the warm floorboards and sideboard to add warmer elements in the room. The throw baskets and warmer tone pillow will help even out the room perfectly ☺️
I definitely think colour 1, the darker one will look amazing because it's quite a large light space so the dark colour will add alot of depth and coziness without darkening the area too much!! Xxx
Hey guys, I have Skimming Stone against a bright white in my bedroom and it is so nice! I think its the perfect balance between warm and cool, I’m really against grey tones atm personally. It’s bright and fresh but still warm and goes with a lot of my tonal decor ☺️ Panelling looks great xx
Option 1, darker colour for the panelling I think your hallway can take it.

I love you guys so much! I say you need more color! Greys everywhere! Lol. I think if you put more pops of color (even if they are muted) it will make you happy. Not that you're not now. I just think a little more pops of color other then Greys send neutral would look amazing. The play room would look cute with an accent wall of a pale pale lavender or purple!

It has a warmer tone to it and will give so much more character to the hall.
But if it were my hall I'd go even darker than 1, I just love a cosier feel to a room.

LOVE the panelling! If you paint the skirting going up the stairs the same colour as the panelling it will give the illusion the panelling is the same height all around!
i honestly have never been much of a kid person, but seeing both of you with Amber makes my heart swell three sizes! You both are such amazing parents 💗 I've been watching you all since the hardcore fitness days, and I just want to say thank you for bringing us along as you both grow and transition in your lives, your family is beautiful !
Good luck with the fixer upper, I wish you all the best but I think you need you need more diy experience behind you as you get people in to do all you jobs required which will eat into your profit x
The block of paneling by the stairs looks out of place - I’d suggest having the edging just on the left side and none on the right, since there is an edge piece around the corner along the stairs! (If that makes sense?!) And I vote 2, the lighter colour ☺️

I prefer the darker colour, 1, for the panelling, I think the contrast will be nice and you’ve got a nice light and open space so it can take the darker tone
I’m travelling right now and ur blogs are literally home for me. They make me feel like I’m back in England just can’t explain it. Obviously I love what I’m doing but when I miss home I just put on one of ur vids and it makes me feel so much better. Love you James and Carys xxp

Hey I think the lighter colour because just think it’s going up the stairs too which is already quite dark! Colours change in different lighting and even against other colours xx

Darker colour 1!! Your hallway is definitely bright enough to deal with it and it'll be dark enough for cosy, dimmed light evenings throughout in the winter 👌🏼🥰

Your eucalyptus would look more at home in the slightly more green colour.

I think when it comes to hallways keeping it as light as possible will keep it nice and open looking. And you’re right when you paint the whole wall it always looks a shade or two darker anyway. It’s so hard finding the perfect colour I’m currently doing the same and it drives you insane 😂

Colour in hallway…I’d go warm neutrals not grey. Grey can be so cold…..and you want to create a warm welcoming feel in hall. Also…..really enjoy watching your home improvements. Amber will soon leave baby stage, and enter toddler stage! Where does the time go?

Haha James comparing putting make up on to clowns was hilarious because its true 🤣 I'm the same as you Carys ,most of the time i love myself without makeup (and don't wear it very often) but when i KNOW there will be pictures took i prefer to have make up on or I'll get insecure again 🤦♀️🤣 if I look bad at least I can blame my poor make up skills instead of just my face hahaha 🤣🤣
Guys, it's probably a bit late now as we are going into spring summer but look up sock ons, they just pop over the sock and keep them in place. Total game changer I've used for both my boys to stop them getting their socks off. :)

The hall is so bright and light that it can take your original plan of the darker colour but honestly don't sweat it lol

Just finally managed to sit down and start watching and I’ve gotten to the part about babies dropping naps, my now 19 month old dropped her naps at 10 months old and it literally killed me off 🤣🤣🤣 my (almost) 6 year old napped until he was 3 so it side swiped me that she stopped so early and I had no idea how I was supposed to cope through the day. 😂😂😂😂

The panelling by the stair need to be a frame not a block because that looks awful as a block .People eyes will automatically noticed that when they come into the house because it looks wrong . .
