He sacrificed his own eye and saftey and security of his life for what he belives. And for the good and right he stands for. He is living legend. A living martyr.

@kapucine. _its very stranger after the attack angainst me a Lot of people said to me that you lived its a miracle. But you know I don't believe in miracles. It's very strange to be a recipient of miracle when you don't in fact believe in miracles_

The way he dint lost his sence of humour and crack far far better and creative joke then Charli hebdo even after loosing and sacrificing his.left eye and one half of his vision and risking his security of life.
That is just another level of badassry of this another level of badass.

Such grit at the face of violence and extremism. Salman isn’t a mere survivor at the hands of an extremist force but a torch bearer to free speech, a liberal voice and free thinking force. More power to him. We need more of such men to live and thrive to remind us about not giving up and keeping at it come what may.

Chautauqua is no longer the INSTITUTION it purports to be today. It is completely changed from its founding principles and its no wonder that the place is not blessed, and sadly Salmon's attack is just another sad chapter in this once wonderful place called Chautauqua. Its a testament to Salmon that he did not blame the Institution for the attack, though Chautauqua works hard to attract an Islamic crowd.
