(it is, partially closing the air column using the glotis I think) Can you figure out by means of what mechanism such event occurs for this person exactly in the moment when falling asleep? (and every time he wakes up at night and wwhen trying to sleep again the contraction occurs). Stress-related sometimes, and others while having a cold (with inflamation of the larynx) or with histamine rich foods. Thanks a lot for your help!
