why did she looked scared and so out of this world? lol but at the end when she saw herself in the mirror, she came back lol she looked so happy! Working with kids is so much fun :}
I am a professional facepainter and I do not like how close this guy gets when he's painting this beautiful child's face.. Also I have never seen a face painter that didn't stand in front of a child and face paint them standing straight on..
I love learning from other Artists, but wish the camera had zoomed in & better angle. Couldn't see the design he was doing. As long as she loved it, that's all that mattered. Thanks for sharing.
@@JudiChristopher I agree, but sometimes, they just don't want to talk. When I get quiet ones in my chair, I talk to them in a very quiet voice and don't try to push engagement. I do this because for a lot of kids, it takes everything they have to deal with a stranger in their personal space. To ask them to interact as well is a lot. It's super relaxing for others, similar to getting hair done and they're sometimes so relaxed, you don't want to disrupt it. After a while you learn to interact with each kiddo as they present what their capacities are based on their demeanor. She seemed extremely relaxed
@@daisyjones2866 REALLY??? I am a TEACHER... I work with 140 different kids every day in 7 different classes... I talk to EACH one of them, maybe not too long, but I let each of them know (especially when I'm in THEIR space... close up) they can trust me... I TALK to them, so they know they count. I also do FACE Painting... It would be rude of me not to Talk to a person, especially a small child that doesn't know me... when I'm right up in their face... THEIR SPACE... It is called Manners...
@@JudiChristopher lol yes I have worked in outdoor schools and summer camps AND I’m a face painter too go figure. Some kids want to to talk, others don’t. You also don’t know if the parent specified this for the video. You’re just getting yourself in a tizzy over a harmless face painting video. They also do talk to the kid at the end to confirm they like it.

She look like she is quite not talking her face look like nice have a face painting she have her eye close sitting in the chair
I love the design but does the artist realize how close he is and how invasive he is being?
Are the supposed to paint 3 ft. Away?! They have to get that close to paint. What is wrong with you?
He can't stand back and chuck paint at her!! How would you suggest painting faces??
EXACTLY what I was thinking... and he never says anything to this small child

Apparently YOU do not talk to people up close face to face in your line of work, or you wouldn't have said that.
