Ur music is a daily treat that allows me to close my eyes and remember it all. He is slipping away faster now. My heart breaks but, I do have one place to go. As a young girl, once my chores were done, I'd sit on the porch swing and listen to the top 40 countdown. I'd write each one down in my notebook. This was my escape from the turmoil in the house. Music was my saving grace. Country music told stories of my life, things that I could relate to. I miss traditional country music. She had a big book telling you everything about country and western music and the artists. She loved this song and RVS.
