- In today's video, I talked about how Alexander McQueen's time at Givenchy both helped him and broke him mentally, and worsened his ongoing destructive behavior.

good job Ryan, and don't apologize for pumping out McQueen content. A solid, deep dive into the oeuvre of one designer is more valuable than a mediocre scratching the surface of many.
thank you!
Ryan, I appreciate your deeper dive into McQueen’s life! I get that deep inside he was actually a pretty sweet guy with his own organic eccentricities but he was strong armed in some way, into tapping into a very dark evil place. His collections are rife with cabal symbols. The famous people you named would have also been cabal connected and indoctrinated. Restricting McQueen to ONLY these people socially and as business connections would have pulled him deeper and deeper into that mire of horror. Heaven only knows what other madness McQueen was subjected to besides the stress of pulling off collections at an inhumanly mad rate!
He was replacing Galliano, who got to move to the bigger brand with 4 times the show budgets, multiple times the salary and etc, so that factors in as well, I think. He played 'This Town Ain't Big Enough for the Both Of Us' at his own show before he quit Givenchy, as a message to JG. It was a small stable of too many thoroughbreds.
Loved the video, I am a macqueen fan and really appreciate your content
Wonderful video Ryan
omg my QUEEN SLAYIN 😍😍😍🥵🥵🥵🤧🤧🤧🥴🥴🥴
thank you sire
Love your voice!
Hell yea my guy
bedtime story audible launching next week
His voice make my 🐱 vibrate
McQueen was AHEAD OF HIS TIME! You look at his designs now and they are so perfect for today but back then they were soooo extreme! Hecwas born too soon! His extravagant work would have been perfect for today.
Mcqueen's work is always a yes for me i adore it. The thing here is that when LVMH was looking for a designer for Givenchy why would they propose a contract to Mcqueen knowing that his work is not even near the brand's identity. Maybe i'm the one that misunderstood the situation but i don't get it.
Never apologise for McQueen content. Lee and Givenchy were so complicated. He gave the house new life and they should have been more grateful. LVMH wanted the headlines and Lee wanted to prove himself (and the pay check rightfully so).
In order to be taken seriously, You need to disclose your sources. What book did you get this information from? Where you there yourself or did you hear it from someone close to McQueen?
