Wow, Charlie, there certainly has been much progress ito finishings. The kitchen is already looking functional, but the sitting room now takes the cake. What a lounge suite!! The guy did an amazing job and it looks sturdy and comfortable. Your idea to cover it is a good one, cos you don't want the cats sharpening their claws on this furniture 😂😂 Almost time to move in🎉🎉🎉🎉

Yes indeed. We did get some plaster cracking after that last Earthquake, so makes sense to fix that first. Won't be long though...
