I'm thankful to this man and his ability to show others how to create from beginning to end and making the process so easy that those with very little experience want and can make their own seats with very little worry
Patience and being methodical makes the hardest of things so much more easy i cant thank these videos enough. When i have issue sewing or making a pattern i go back and watch this man and his incredible way he teaches and i end up figuring out how he's doing it and end up figuring out my projects

That Kawasaki green and black is a personal favorite. You do such a nice job of fitting your seat covers, you never seem to need to reach for the heat gun. 😁
Adding piping to upholstery sure makes it look alot more custom. Nice work.. I see other work without piping it's just to plain for me.. your work diffently stands out. And you can see you really care what you work looks like👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The thread is neon thread. The material is leather black for the lateral pieces and the green neon for the center panel. I bought some green pigment and sprayed it over this portion before sewing process.
Great Video! I have never seen pleats done in that way before. Very cool. It always amazes me how differently you and I approach upholstery but still end up with great results.
Hello John, Thanks so much for kind comment! I have tried to emulate those old cars whose seats had 'heat pressed channels'. Furthermore, I used to do it on motorcycles seats, at the beginning of the eighties. I had a bigger machine at that time and all the seat pleats came out at one go. Above all, it is just an application of basic sewings we can find in a humble and the most luxurious car. I think it depends on how to put them together. Merry Christmas!
@@Cechaflo That's a great way to emulate those pleats. Thanks for sharing! Merry Christmas to you as well. Hey by the way you should check out the forum I started. You have a lot of fans on there and they would love hear from you. www.TheUpholsteryForum.com

Dude. You are a freaking MASTER! I love the look of that seat. I wish I had access to a surger like that. I'm have a few questions. Is there a way to build up a rear ridge to create a deeper saddle on a plastic pan solo seat? Maybe you have a vid of how to change to a deeper saddle? And, what kind of thread do you use when sewing leather? I only have a regular sewing machine, but I'd love to try something like this. I wish I had a way to do the pleated panel. That is totally badass. You are an artist, bro.
Hello, yes, it is possible to create the deeper saddle. I do not have a how-to video. When sewing leather I use the 'standard polyester thread 92 size for the 'basic closing sewings'. In case of decorative stitches a 138 size suits well. A 110=18 needle for the thin thread and a 140=22 needle for the thicker decorative thread. I have videos related to do regular pleats:th-cam.com/video/tOCfT_H2DHY/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/tI7FK9iA3nY/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/0LXPXHhp1ag/w-d-xo.html I suppose this is what you asked for at the beginning...I mean the raised saddle:th-cam.com/video/uGIQNtuc4Ik/w-d-xo.html Thanks for watching the videos! Looks absolutely amazing and i'm probably going to implement some of these design choices on my bike, how ever why green folds do not seem to have any foam in them and further more this design has serious flaw where when it rains these folds collect the water and it will seep to foam from the seams. It would be best to treat the seams with some leather grease or oil to prevent water getting in.
