I bought the dark grey cloud version and it is really a beautiful watch. Great looking on the wrist. The detail in the clouds on the dial are perfect. A unique timepiece for sure
And yeah, not much to complain about on a crisp Northern LP autumn day with smoked lake trout ten minutes in any direction and a Lions victory just days ago.
Weather has been perfect for working outside. Never really gravitated toward smoked fish, it is good though. Lions….who is that? I stopped watching when #20 left
I just don't like the colour of the dials on all three look weird. Maybe it's because it seems metallic/shiny on a heavy textured dial. I probably wouldn't have minded the white dial too much, but the gold accents throw me off of that too. However, I really like the bezel and it's great to see new GMT watches with a 24h rotating bezel, as many new GMTs just slap a fixed 24h bezel. It would also be nice to see this in a 40mm or under. In any case, Islander still makes some great watches but I do feel like sometimes they miss the mark on their dial designs.
All of Marc’s named watches are named after a town or place on Long Island in New York. JFK is John F Kennedy Airport so all the watches are cloud themed dials and appropriately has GMT function for travelers. Pretty cool idea if you ask me
lol crying about the watch not being unwrapped. I mean dude, the amount of fat of your fingers means you probably need a bit of physical exertion anyways. Other wise, decent review.
I watch Mark’s vid on these watches and I was blown away by the quality. Keep them coming Rob

That is one great looking watch! Go Mark and crew!!
NH34... Another beautiful watch from Marc!
I wanted to say 34 but for some reason my brain locked up
@@RandomRobReviews It happens to the best of us! 🍻
All in all nice timepiece. That blue dial is amazing
Man this is sharp. Love that big crown for my big digits. Looks great, would look great too on leather or a tropic. A+ Mark
I just bought two Islanders . The struggle is real with that plastic bro. I had flashbacks watching you.
That looks better than in Marc’s video.
What a beauty ! I like every parts of it👌
these watch are very good and if you like watches at this price point these are the watches to get.
Unwrap before the video
Love your videos. Keep them coming.
I love the Master Marines , they have purpose , presence and elegance. Much prefer the Seiko LX to the Grand Seikos at the same price

How dare you haha. Barry Samders
I'm with you all the way when it comes to unwrapping watches. I loathe the experience with each new watch.

Movement NH34. says so right on the dial. :)
Smart to hide it in plain sight.
A beauty.
Wondering why it's called JFK.

Thanks!
Islander Islander Islander is Mark paying you for all these reviews?
Nope. And I show all watches not a bunch of one brand. Cheer up
Un-wrapping watches. First world problems. The struggle is real.
I’d donate $10 to help buy an overwrapped cheap Chinese watch you could use a blowtorch on to get the plastic off.
The crown looks off
It’s connected for sure
Send all wrapped watches to me. I'll do it for you.
Fly up here once a week and do the work.
@@RandomRobReviews Your governor would have me arrested at the airport. I cannot be permitted to be allowed in MI.
Looks like a pimped out seiko GMT..
Unwrap off camera, please!
I did

Thanks for the fat shaming. I am sure you are perfect in every way. Hope to meet up one day so we can discuss how I can do better. Life coach
