Rich Mahogany is my favourite dark brown ink! It was a surprise ink I received with one of the pen and ink challenge host gifts. I didn't get to choose the ink, but I'm so happy to receive the colour. It's my only Conklin ink. I'd been looking for a dark brown ink like that one for a while and it was nice to receive it as a surprise. The closest ink to that vibe since was probably Diamine Macasar, which will be the ink I choose to buy next if I ever run out of Rich Mahogany (but it's a 60ml bottle. so it's unlikely!) Mahogany also has a soft spot with me, because my piano is made of Mahogany wood. I'd love a Mahogany wood pen one day.
I am so glad to have it. It’s my new favourite brown brown ink. (Will never let go of the weird brown gray ink that is called J Herbin Cacao du Bresil 😆)
