Hey friends! In this weeks video we are heading to Aldi to see budget grocery finds, food storage organization ideas, and bulk baking inspiration featuring a delicious chia latte recipe while we get it all done!

THE BEST Chocolate Chip Cookies:
-1 C. Butter
-1/4 C. White Sugar
-3/4 C. Brown Sugar
-2 Eggs
-2 tsp. Vanilla
-1 (3oz) pkg Vanilla Instant Pudding (or whatever flavor you like)
-1 tsp Baking Soda
-2 1/4 C. Flour
-1 package chocolate chips
INSTRUCTIONS:
-Mix All Ingredients
-Scoop On Cookie Sheet
-Bake at 375F for 8 to 10 mins.

From the title I was interested to find out how you were going to make a chia latte... Turns out it was actually a chai latte 😂 Looks delicious. I just may have to try it. I've never actually tried chai. And the cookie bags are sooooooo cute and thoughtful! ♥
Omg. I was too. Thought wow... that would be really thick. Glad to see no chia seeds in it. Pretty sure we'll be doing this recipe when it gets colder.
I have also made this cookie recipe for years! When my children were little I would portion out the dough and flash freeze them. Each morning I would bake off 2 for each of them for their lunch boxes/snack time. Teachers would request them for class parties and at the holidays!

What a kind thing to do, making & handing out cookies to elderly people at church & your elderly neighbor. Clever idea to include a photo of your family. Love the idea of the encouraging card message inside the bag. Goodness & kindness inside & out.❤
I have a spreadsheet for what's in my freezers. If lets say I have 15 lbs of hamburger I use a highlighter to color in 15 squares. As I use them I cross them off. As I add I color in more squares. That way when I meal plan I don't have to look in my freezers.

As my fiance works off-shore and I am home alone with a newborn and a 4 year old, I have tried to do a weekly mealprep(inspired by you). It has been a life saver especially on days when my older child was home and sick.
I love this idea, and the notion that we are called to BE the hands and feet of Jesus is a great reminder and good way to start a Monday. Thank you for this and God Bless you and your family.
Hi Adaline, love the new content! A little bit of everything its just perfect. I use reusable sticky notes for my freezers, is almost like the whiteboard that you just bought but this is a peel and stick version. So i can easily remove them and also place them on my kitchen cupboards or doors. I do live in Holland so not sure if you would have them in America. But for us it really works well, we can check the sticky note and see in a blink of an eye what we have and what we can use for dinner. We also have our week menu on a whiteboard/corckboard in our livingroom. Sometimes i feel so silly doing this but it really helps us 😊
There is a big difference between chia and chai.
Of my goodness!!! We use that chocolate chip cookie as well!! We have used it for years. It is, by far, my husband and two boys' favorite recipe!❤❤❤
My cousin does a weekly dinner plan/ she has a wall in the kitchen and writes Monday through Sunday and than writes what meals she is making. Works great for them !!

Using a whiteboard is great be or freezers! I used one when I had made freezers meals for after baby and just erasing a meal as we used it worked great!
This is so great! You're right, we don't do acts of kindness like times before. I often try to do this. My heart is big for the elderly. There are so many that just want someone to talk to. They are lonely. Your girls would put a smile on many of their faces.

Plenty of people still do kind things for people. You just don't see it when it's not on video. Doing a nice thing is a bit negated if you have to share it online.

Love bulk batching cookies. I don’t bake mine tho, I flash freeze scoops of cookie dough then throw them all in a freezer bag. Then just bake from frozen. I keep a few different kinds in the freezer and we can just pull out a hand full and bake!
My grandma always had baked cookies in the freezer so she could pull them out when she had company. She also had pies and cinnamon rolls in the freezer. 😋

I laminated a plain piece of paper and write out meals for the week and keep it on the side of the fridge. I don’t set days for meal but just know I have shopped for and have all the ingredients needed for those meals then pick what I feel like day by day or the kids can pick what sounds good to them too!
I’ve been making that chocolate chip cookie recipe for years and it is by far the best and most moist I’ve ever made. Makes the nestle cookie recipe look bad! I like to add both white and chocolate chips.

Ha I have a list like that for my husband if I go out of town so he knows what I’ve prepped for him! Then I use it with meals I can make with ingredients I have on hand (or need to use up) for about 10 days or so that I can choose meals when it’s time to make dinner. I just cross them off as I make them and then start fresh when everything has been made.

Kannst du bitte mal ein Video über die eingekochten Kartoffeln machen???? Hier in Deutschland gibt es so viele Varianten ( vorkochen, nicht vorkochen, mit kaltem Wasser , mit Salzwasser,…..) und ich habe keine Ahnung, was richtig ist! Und ich würde so gerne Kartoffeln einkochen!! Danke 🙏
