- Reacting to the Tokyo designer brand flea market video that went viral 10 months ago. The original video shows shoppers searching for bargains on preowned and/or vintage designer bags, wallets, watches and more. Brands seen in the video include: Louis Vuitton, Goyard, Rolex and so on.
Pawnshops reselling preowned luxury designer items is common in Japan and because the country has very strict laws concerning counterfeits, even at special events like this with hundreds of products, it is unlikely you will come across fakes. Such shops and flea market events allow shoppers to find plenty of cheap designer brand items. To give you a rough idea of the prices, at the time of making this reaction video, 1 POUND STERLING = 144 JAPANESE YEN = 1.32 USD.

I bought a LV bag gtdupe years ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. The store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of good quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I found zero differences

People are free to buy & sell whatever they like. What this highlights is the consumerism society that we live in. The fashion industry now churns out more than the required 4 seasons a year (with not much creativity as you know they copy the trending things). Quality items are supposed to last a long time so when people buy more than what they can use, more items go into the preloved market. Time for us to reflect (this impacts the environment and more) Thanks for bringing awareness with this video.

I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. 🤦🏻♀ The other one is a $40 one *yutulux* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym 😅 yt

Reading the comments and I truly find some people a bit jealous of these *amzrepe* . I mean if you work hard, you deserve to treat yourself. And I truly find this video to be helpful. Yeah I get not everybody can afford one of these bags but, wouldn't one prefer to learn about others experience with the bag then waste their money on a purse. Like thanks to other youtubers reviews on a bag, I got one and I'm truly happy with mine. & thanks to you Diana, I showed my sister this video and she's now convinced to get the Louis Vuitton bag that she's wanted for so long!
