- Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you this new Christmas decorate with me! But not your ordinary decorate with me, this is better! haha I hopped out of the box for this one and did a pretty cool (easy, subjective) DIY! A diy stocking holder for those of us without fireplaces!! Influencers act all wild like we're going to spend $44 on a branch. lol I love the way this turned out! I decorated my TV - another first for me!! I love the way it turned out (at the end of the video with all ornament garland!) and I also put together a wrapping station!! YES I know it is super cool and totally functional, and slightly heavy. haha And as if that's not enough I put together three treats to share with you. You know I love to overload my videos with a ton of content lol I made some creamy crockpot hot cocoa, with a hot cocoa treat board, then little debbie christmas tree cake balls, and some popcorn christmas crunch! It all turned out great and I'm so glad you hung out with me through it all!

Had to pause it midway during decorating the Christmas tree to share my thought about being a mother.
Everyone besides Kim was wearing a festive outfit, and Kim was the one to take a family photo of everyone decorating the tree. Everyone besides herself.
Mothers do so much to make sure everyone is involved and happy that so often we forget about ourselves.
You're a great mum Kim. Keep up the fun spirit but do remember to look after yourself ❤

I remember as a kid sometime in late summer or early fall they would always play the Wizard of Oz on TV, our family would pop popcorn and and watch it together.

Pastry chef here! Key to chocolate melts is small increments of heat and THOROUGHLY mixing in between! Like 30, 30, then 10 seconds at a time from there. Mix for longer than you even think because sometimes the heat is enough to melt the rest of the chocolate without overheating. If it is too hot, it also becomes too thick and seizes up. The chocolate should be warmed, not hot! Sometimes if it’s too hot, adding some unmelted chocolate can bring it back. But it is a pain in the you know what for sure! Sometimes adding coconut oil or a neutral oil, I like coconut bc its hard at room temp… can help with consistency! Hope this helps
When my kids were young I would wrap the Christmas movies and put them on a basket. What ever was unwrapped we watched.
My favorite Christmas movie is Miracle on 34th street. The old black and white version. So sweet and appropriate for the children.

I love seeing your whole family decorating the tree. I find it odd in all these Christmas decorating videos that the mom does it all.
When I was a kid, decorating the tree was a family affair. They weren’t the perfect of trees but I still have the memories. Every year my mom would say, this is the best tree yet. ❤

I love that organizing bag for wrapping gifts! That is so cool. When I was a childcare teacher, one of the things I loved to do was to make felt activities. The kids love that! I made giant Goldilocks and the Three Bears out of poster board and Velcro. The kids loved it! You are the woman across the room. Love your videos. Thanks for being a friend!

Love your content. The TV rating system didn’t start until January 1, 1997 ,my youngest daughter turned 7 that day and my oldest daughter was 9 1/2. The law that passed to start the rating system was in December 1996. Up till then Christmas movies we’re believed to be movies for kids. Unless it had a R rating at the movie theaters. But you are right about how different movies were back then. I loved it and I still do. Lol

Hey Kim. My tree was always filled with what my kids made. They loved looking back on them. I don't put up a full tree any longer. But I did enjoy watching you guys putting yours up. My movie favs are the old ones. i do enjoy watching ELF thou. My oldest daughter turned me onto that. I could watch it all year long haha. Can't wait for more from you, always a treat.
Thanksgiving week I run three movies all day, Home for the Holidays, Son in Law, and Planes, trains and automobiles. It's a wonderful life isy favorite!

Ooo the best ever Hot Chocolate is Paula Deans Dreamy Creamy Hot Chocolate, course to me anything with sweetened condensed milk is great to start! Loved watching the family decorate the tree and the bucket list is a great idea! My favorite Christmas movies are “It’s a Wonderful Life,” “Love, Actually,” “White Christmas” and “Scrooge” (1970) with Albert Finney. Also kid friendly musicals like “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” “Mary Poppins” and “Oliver!”

The decorations look gorgeous! The tree is so pretty lit up & the whole family all decorating, so sweet. I love that Christmas decorating station bag. I want one. You're so cool to do everything & have fun! The tree limb for the stockings would hold if you put maybe a ribbon around the stick & tied it on the ends & then put the ribbon with a loop on the hook on the wall. I think that should do it. One of the cutest , easiest ornament we made were popcorn wreats...just string popcorn on a7--8" length of wire, twosting the wire together at the top and tyiny a bow on top. It really bumped the tree up a notch

This will be my first year of putting up a Christmas tree after years of neglecting my holiday spirit. I’m so excited! And, for the first time ever, I bought pajamas for me and my dog child to wear on Christmas Eve. They don’t match, but I thought that might be taking it too far. Also, as a quick side note, I ate a small Christmas bulb when I was around Wolfgang’s age. This was pre-plastic when bulbs were thin glass, so I ended up having my very first ER visit to have tiny shards of glass removed from my gums. I also ate a Christmas bath bead. I don’t remember it, but my parents would tell me that story every year. I guess my lifelong obsession with Christmas candy started early. 😂

Kim!! We have a stool nutcracker from Germany too! My parents were stationed there before I was born so it’s been in my parents house my whole life. My mom now puts a Christmas plaid hat on him at Christmas time LOL.

Here's an idea, put a little basket on the floor by your felt tree to store dropped felts.
I was just about to comment and tell you those off brand command hooks will take the paint off the walls until I saw the part where you said that. I learned the heard way too when it took the paint/stain off of my fire place last year 🤦🏻♀️
I love a sentimental Christmas tree!! Growing up my grandma gave us an ornament that represented something we were into that year. When they came off the tree everyone’s ornaments went into their own box and when we moved out my mom gave you your box. My mom has been doing the same thing for my kids and I’m doing it for my grandkids. It’s so fun every year seeing them and all the memories they bring back.
