For context the contestants all complete these tasks individually without knowing how the others did, they also sometimes have team tasks. For an episode of the show they have an initial task which is done by bringing something the taskmaster has requested, and the taskmaster will judge who brought the best item according to the specific request, then they watch together several tasks like this they have all completed beforehand to see who did best, and at the end there is a final task completed on the stage in front of the audience. This formula is the same for all taskmaster shows across the many countries other commenters have listed.
Yo Tyler i'm from Askøy right outside of Bergen, i gotta say your Awesome, you make are Country come back more in the lights of others eyes and THANKS ALOT 💪💪💪💪💯💯💯😎🤙🤙🤙
Kongen befaler (The king commands) is the Norwegian name for "Simon says", and like a few others here has said, the Norwegian version of Taskmaster. There are a bunch of British seasons, some from Australia and New Zealand, plus the one from the US, so you have a lot to go through if you like it :) The Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish are also fun if you don't mind the language barrier. I love every one I've seen!
"Seems like this makes them go crazy". Well, no, but these guys ARE crazy, they're from Bergen ;P But honestly, Maria there IS crazy. The 2 Ylvis-brothers are also extremely versitile in terms of talent and persistance etc, so they do a lot of crazy stuff as well - I love them!! :D
Taskmaster is a British show. It has different versions in different countries, (like Kongen Befaler/The King Orders in Norway) and they tried it in America as well. But little humor survived with the American way, so it lasted for maybe one season😅 UK one is very good of course, and I have heard Newzeland also did it very well.
Kongen Befaler is the norwegian game "Simon Says". The game show Task Master is originally british, but the Australian and New Zealand version is very good as well. The US version is utterly trash, stay far away from it.
Guinness doesn't track this records. I believe it is because of the health risk, but also because it's hard to define the parameters. People in some operations will be forced to have their eyes open. I think there is a claim for something like an hour and some minutes... that claim seem to still be made for the record. Edit: I jumped the gun. The last line was covered in the video.
I once had one eye I couldn’t blink with, lasted for 4 weeks. Painfull! Had to tape it down during the night so I could get some darkness and rest. Bård did amazing but his eyes must be sore😅
There is an American version of the show, but it didn’t last long I think. The American contestants took the “competition” way too seriously and didn’t understand it wasn’t about winning, but to be funny.
A people have written here, the two guys are the Ylvis brothers that is most famous for the song "What does the fox say". This show is filmed in the beautiful Drammen theater 🎥. One of several locations that was missing in the "Things to see in Drammen" video that you reached to. This theater is known among actors to be one of the absolute most beautiful theaters in Norway. 😊
Not really your style I think, but you should react to the whole season. Small bits and pieces like this doesn't really give you much insight into how much fun this show can be
The two boys who lasted the longest are the same who made the song "What does the fox say" btw :)
The song is simply called "The Fox". But I understand why you wrote the chorus line. 😊
@@Henrik46 or “The Fox (What Does The Fox Say?)” on Spotify and TH-cam🤷♀️🤷♀️
-Kongen Befaler is the norwegian version of the british show Task Master.
Yeah.. and there is an American version of the Taskmaster too
And the norwegian version is so much better 🤷♀️
@@Tingelingkiss No.. I don’t think the Norwegian version is better ..
@@anettv6150ok…
@@Tingelingkiss i agree
I didn't blink throughout this video 😂 I love Kongen Befaler, that was one of the best seasons ever.

NORTHWAY 4LIFE
I'm also from Norway, and I promise we are not all illiterate emoji-spammers like this kid...
Most Norwegians are pretty good at English

There is an american version of taskmaster/kongen befaler, but it's nowhere close to as good as the norwegian and british version.
My favorite show on TvNorge.
Wow easy pleased
"Seems like this makes them go crazy". Well, no, but these guys ARE crazy, they're from Bergen ;P But honestly, Maria there IS crazy. The 2 Ylvis-brothers are also extremely versitile in terms of talent and persistance etc, so they do a lot of crazy stuff as well - I love them!! :D

There is a Swedish and Danish running too. Bäst i test and Stormester.

You should definitely react more to Ylvis!
You see that 2 of them are the ones from Ylvis? (They are brothers, Ylvis is their an abreviarion of their last name)
The reason they are able to do it for so long is because they use eye lenses, which helps a lot.
Can you watch more kongen befaler
I once had one eye I couldn’t blink with, lasted for 4 weeks. Painfull! Had to tape it down during the night so I could get some darkness and rest.
Bård did amazing but his eyes must be sore😅
The Infographics Show has a video about what happens if you do this for too long
The guys that placed 1st and 2nd are "Ylvis" who made "Intelevator" and "The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?)"
I don't think I would've bet anything on anything against those Ylvis brothers. But I'm not at all surprised that they have really strong will power.
Kongen befaler is the same as " Simon says" the game... Like the one you played as a child.
So yo! Who has the record btw??
the guys in this, "ylvis", you've already met with their intelevator pranks so they are not new to you but this is a newer clip than those ones lol
There is an American version of the show, but it didn’t last long I think. The American contestants took the “competition” way too seriously and didn’t understand it wasn’t about winning, but to be funny.
Tyler meet Ylvis! So much fun her to look forward to.
He has reacted to them a couple times already
This are the boys who have the song "What Dos The Fox Say" btw! 😉

I hope you do more comedy reactions:) or to ylvis songs.
Taskmaster is Love. Taskmaster is Life.

Its a tecniq, but you get very dry in ur eyes😅
I have seen many drivers that seem to go their whole lives without blinking.
Not really your style I think, but you should react to the whole season. Small bits and pieces like this doesn't really give you much insight into how much fun this show can be
My only talent is that i can also go a very long time without blinking. Like a loooooooong time. its my only skill.
Oh No, å ja
The official world record in not blinking is 1h 31m appearantly
Kongen befaler is kool.
But Norges Herligste is the best of Ylvis.
